Geto Boys - Mind Is Playing Tricks On Me

This is tied as my favorite song ever along with "Nuthin' But A G Thang". The concept is classic. Each member drops a classic verse. The video is classic. The beat is classic. This song was the first actual song that blew up the South other than "Me So Horny" by 2 Live Crew.

w0rd. I'm with that too, "Mine Playin' Tricks '94" is also a classic and a possible contender for this.

I'd also like to add Outkast's "Rosa Parks", funky and meaningful  :)

Everything he did from Ghetto D and before was hot. I became a fan of his because of the song "Bout It Bout It". I own two of his albums which I think are tight. Believe it or not most heads from or fans of the South consider Ghetto D a classic. He's definitely trash in his current state though.

Yup. Some of his earlier stuff was pretty good, his flow has slipped alot since though I think, thats the reason why I think he's not very nice.

Ok then, very good, that better?  ;D
Naw, since then the only track he's impressed me on is "Lay Low", he was suprisingly good on that track considering the crud he was bringing out prior to him getting too rich.

im not gonna lie...the last don was ok....only god can judge me was wack....ghetto postage was ok....an game face is semi ok....every no limit release is like that now....even mista magics albums....the last real tight no limit release was 504 Boyz(snoops are different since it wasnt majority no limit)....i havent heard Krazys album but im sure its not what it could be.....

Yeah. We should do a semi's & final's like we did with your thread. It looks like it's gonna be between:

Geto Boys - "Mind Playin Tricks On Me"

Vs

Outkast - "Players Ball"

Outkast - "Rosa Parks"

Vs

Master P - "Bout It Bout It"

Or something along those lines. Upto you S.G.V.
