I should have generalized it as hip hop culture in general nowadays. Lets be honest most of it is some ignorant ass shit. People should be saving to get out of poverty. Buying 130 dollar Jordans is not being really conservative about getting out of a bad situation and bettering your lives. The hip hop culture that is portrayed and that resonates through society is not realistic and keeps the people who it is aimed towards in poverty. In todays economy it is not realistic for someone who makes 9 dollars an hour to spend half of there paycheck on Jordans. Todays hip hop culture influences the people who are in certain economic conditions to spend beyond there means to live up to what "society" or truthfully more like "the deciders" ideas of what people should be like.
