STFU, you don't know any of us personally so don't even try to judge our situations. If I want to listen to deep music based on relationships and situations i've been through i'll listen to some 'Pac, someone who Ja bit his style from in the first place. When I listen to someone's material I want to be intrigued by something that is fresh, something that someone hasn't tackled before and sorry to say but Nelly and Ja's style is exsistent in almost every bling bling pop rapper that drops these days, and thats just not for me. You listen to what you want but don't try and judge someone just because they don't have the same tastes or opinions as you.

First off 'Pac didn't say that, he said make MUSIC for the bitches, then the niggas will eventually want what the bitches want, that was one of his theories on selling records.
Back to the topic, i'm all for club music, i'll dance to a Ja or Nelly track when i'm at a club, thats basically what their music is for in the first place, but I personally won't buy an album full of party tracks because I can't listen to that shit in my personal time, in my personal time I want to listen to something thought provoking, something that is chillin' but at the same time has a message behind it. Take 'Pac's "How Do You Want It" for instance, classic party/club track, gets everyone going when it's played at a club, but it also has a message behind it, in this case it is political. Now not many rappers/MC's can make tracks like these, especially not your average ones like Nelly and Ja rule. My point here is that if your making music that alot of people want to listen to the least you can do is say something worthwhile in atleast half of the tracks on your album, I mean you might not take any notice of the particular lyrics at the time the track is being played in a club but when your at home you can still listen to it because it has something worth listening to. Your average listener won't particularly care about lyrics, but i'm not your average listener, I listen to hip-hop because it teaches me things, it makes me aware of situations and in alot cases I can relate to it, and thats ultimately what I want from music and hip-hop caters for that.
I mean c'mon, take this line out of Nelly's new song for instance, "whats the good of all the fame if you ain't fucking the models". Thats basically saying that thats all he wants fame for, but I see it like this, if you have fame use it to it's full potential. If you want fame to be able to get women become a porn star or something. He claims he funds AID's charity's and things, & I know he made that song for AID's victims, but one song isn't good enough for me, if you want to make a record full of party songs thats fine with me but don't expect me to buy it if your not going to say anything worthwhile thats all i'm saying.

read some books man, aint no rapper out there that can teach me anything. i don't buy nellys music but i know when he's played in a club he is one of the goats because he makes some magical things happen on the dancefloor (you get me).
