with success comes hate you know that alot of people were just waiting to say he sold out, people think that the guy has to bring the whole of canada with him, kardi already said he's not only reppin for canada but he's reppin for the Caribbean his background, so if you ask me he's keeping real he still raps with his Jamaican accent and he still reps canada he don't need to put tom dick & harry from canada on his album, if you look at belly's album who was Canadian on there ? look at nelly furtado who from canada she works with ? people think it's only about canada like kardi said akon told him it's not about canada & the states it's about internationally being known, thats why some rappers go to other countries and people dunno who the fuck they are because they focus on there country alone

we all know kardi in canada he's known here, its about getting people outside canada to know him so he's trying to break into other countries and people talking about bring other rappers, if you're not known yet how can you put on other people, you blow up then you put other people , because you're known now and people will listen to somebody you co signed, let the man blow up first

he don't even have his own artist's on his album why would he put other rappers from canada

the guy is gonna try to blow up first then if he does it will be easy to put other people on, if i make a thread now and put lil wayne co signs blah blah do you know how many people will check this dude's music out, why ? because lil wayne is known so it's easy for him to put somebody on

kardi said him saukrates & choclar are not really talking anymore, its not beef but there not really talking to each other

there's not many Canadian features but half of the album was produced by Canadian producers

boi 1 da from toronto
dj kemo from Vancouver
kardinal
and the black jays team

then you got producers from the states & the UK on there

also akon  says he's  creating a label in toronto after kardi's album drops and it will be ran by kardi but it will be a major label and kardi can find the next hottest artist in canada to put out there

so kardi is doing BIGGGG things, he said his single dangerous already went gold in the states, it was the most downloaded on i tunes  a couple weeks ago

and he's # 7 on billboard top 100, 1 spot behind lil wayne

http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/charts/chart_display.jsp?g=Singles&f=The+Billboard+Hot+100

he's getting crazy spin internationally

my brother was just in Miami and he told me there playing the fuck outta his track in the club down there

sounds good the 2 tracks ive heard so far im liking a lot
yeah the majority of us are probably not fans of Akon.....but if your were in Kardi's position you'd sign to him as well
like dude above said smart move

i guess he should sign with some bullshit label  like the ones in the past that fucked him over just so people would'nt say he sold out

kardi has tracks produced by timberland & pharrell that he hasn't put out because the label he was signed with in the past fucked him over and he got to bounce with his masters so he still has those tracks he said he might put them out

did you know kardinal was broke, dude was rapping and dropping all those albums but still living with his mom on Vaughn & oakwood you think he was making money ? think again , akon already made this man more money than he ever made his whole career rapping in canada not to mention he has a good deal he's signed to kon live/ Intercope

so yes it was a smart move, look how far akon took him already, look were his single is, his track is getting spinz world wide , his video is all over the net and all over TV, when the last time a canadian rapper had a gold single in the U.S ? .....(CRICKETS)

YOU SHOULD BE THANKING AKON, because major labels in the states don't even fuck with canadian rappers, name another canadian rapper signed to a major label in the states ? (CRICKETS)

so hate on akon the only man that took a chance on a canadian rapper when nobody else did, the rappers you people support in the states would never sign a Canadian rapper to there label

No joke, kardi's been floundering in canada for years, and thats' because canada either isn't built for the hip hop game, or it just straight up doesn't wanna support hip hop,but either way, akon just threw kardi a life preserver, like the titanic was going down, now kardi gets a fresh start to really jump off on a world wide stage.

Next man is Mayhem...Hopefully

Canadian labels don't support hip hop artist kardi and many other rappers already said this, the labels don't put money behind hip hop acts, labels in canada only push rock acts look at how many rock groups blow up in canada but not one hip hop artist...kardi said theres a big problem with labels in canada, thats why rappers gotta blow up in the states before we except them

so many rappers out here say the same thing, thats why some of them just give up , no support from record labels and if a label does sign them they don't know how to market hip hop

Shit, who are you telling,i'm in canada too,i'm reading, and seeing the exact same thing that you're saying.

As far as i'm concerned, all the cats that are trying to get on really need to leave canada and get on in the stars n stripes,i mean look at eternia, she was smart and got to new york, why can't the rest of us see that, for us to make it,we need to do the same thing.

I'll decide if he sold out when i hear the album...anyway if u got the opportunity to do new music with new artist, not artist your would fuck with normally, why the fuck not do it and get a larger fan base? u want him to last as an artist or to fade out?

of course, why not sign with someone thats successful and make some money? Go for it Kardi, get that cash. Your music is just going to suck, thats all.
