Title: 08/28/08: Barack Obama & Martin Luther King, Jr. (45 is a symbolic number?)
Post by: pootypooty on August 25, 2008, 02:07:02 AM
On 08/25/08 the Democrats meet in Denver for their 45th nominating convention. Telecast from the Pepsi Center and (on the final night) Invesco Field.

08/28/08 - Barack Obama accepts the nomination as the Democratic National Convention concludes at Invesco Field in Denver. Obama's address comes on the 45th anniversary of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech.

08+25+08 = 41. Four days too soon. Too bad, McCain's winning.

Actually, MLK's 45th anniversary speech falls on: 08+28+08 = 44. Still one day off, but closer than 41.  ;)
