my vote goes to the one and only snoop dogg. he dropped a good album and then turned around and dropped some bullshit eggo drippin'. i woulda put lo but i wasn't expecting much from his album anyway.

haha, I probably haven't even heard and/or won't hear the worst album of the year. See, I don't check for Shawty Lo's music for example ;D He can't even spell right. The worst cd I heard in full this year is probably Ice Cube's.

LOL yeah I doubt you've heard it. Lo put out a BAD album. Usually these BAD albums at least have good production but even his beats sounded cheap as hell.

i didn't listen to Lo so i wont assume it's the worst.
yall think Snoop dropped a bad album? i thought it was pretty good. i mean a few fillers. pretty terrible single...but had some great tracks on it. no doubt in my mind that it was better than TBCT.

Even though I heard only 1 song on the album cause of BET, I chose G-Unit. Hearing that garbage song & seeing that video, it kinda summed up the whole album. If you're on the fell off list & doing a new album, you better make your 1st single the best in years & they didn't.

U left out artists like 2 Pistols, VIC, Rocko, Plies' new album, etc. But of the choices without a doubt 'Units In The City'. The south as a whole took a big loss when that record got released.

2 Pistols, Rocko, Plies >> Shawty Lo (at least those albums had good production and Plies had songs like '1 day' and 'somebody loves u')
i thought u was a fan of Plies? or just don't like the new album; don't see how u can dislike this CD when u liked his debut and they sound exactly alike lol (unless u don't like the CD for that very reason)

I was hoping for growth, I wanted to see him step up his lyrics, and his voice got to me, also I wasn't really feeling his beat selection for this album.

Snoop Dogg's Ego Trippin was pretty good to me, but I consider this as a Pop/Mainstream album more than Gangsta Rap/Hip Hop release
G-Unit album was not so bad and I liked both singles "I Like The Way She Do It" & "Rider Pt. 2"

lol, but both of them REALLY SUCK. the only two songs i know by them, have a snappy/soulja boy type dance to them...although i've heard plenty songs by Dem Franchize Boyz about this "white tee". ::)

Yes, I don't like Waynes earlier stuff and from what I heard, this new shit is worse. You don't need to check for many songs to realise that. Shawty Lo is just straight garbage.

I can't understand the people that think Ego Trippin is at all better than Blue Carpet. Theresamount of filler on TBCTbasically equals the amount of good songs on Ego Trippin.
