This album had some BAD songs but how can u dislike the following:
press play
neva have 2 worry
waste of time
sets up
deez hollywood nights
been around tha world
one chance (make it good)

decent/solid album.

Yeah, i quite like the album. Most of it is good. Its really just towards the end, the last quater or so, or maybe third it looses its way a bit, go's too soft and seems unballanced. But most the songs are real good. I guess that you have to be in the right mood for this one.

For me it is a aight album with little or no replay value except for a couple of songs, most of which you mentioned.

Good album. I bump Daz, Kurupt/Roscoe and Roscoe's albums that dropped this year more than Ego Trippin though, especially Daz's. But Ego Trippin is dope; I still listen to my favorite joints from it - "Press Play", "SD Is Out", "Staxxx In My Jeans", "Let It Out", "One Chance (Make It Good)" and "Whateva U Do". 8)

I played the shit of this album (with the exception of "Sets Up" and "Staxxx In My Jeans") when it first came out, but it quickly lost replay value. These are the song I still play:

I don't think it's his worst, but it was a big disappointment.
These songs still get a few spins from me.
Press Play = This is like the best track on the album. The way it just gets you amped lol
Sets Up = Pretty good.
Life of da Party = Good.
Sexual Eruption = It's different. It's probably the only song that has Snoop use the auto-tune, hopefully.
Deez Hollywood Nights = Catchy.
Neva Have 2 Worry = At first I didn't like it, but after a few listens I found it alright.

i was kinda dissapointed in the teddy riley input his tracks were on the whole the corniest and worst on the album imo. could have been a really good cd with quik producing more.

luna you my homie but i disagree wit you on this topic. this is snoop's worst album. this album makes paid the cost seem like doggystyle. i was all for the original concept of the album which was suppose to be a true solo album. but it turned out fucked up lyrically and productionwise. even without dre i think snoop coulda did a better job wit just soopafly, battlecat,terrance martin(fear and respect woulda been the shit), fred wreck, etc. and him writng his own lyrics.

I've liked it a lot since it dropped and still do, just don't really play the whole album as much as when it first came out... I still bump "Press Play" regularly though 8)

Press Play is a classic. Shame Snoop did not write that song though but oh well.

dre and snoop = nothing better but this album was clean imo. I admit the replay value was pretty poor but joints like neva hafta worry, press play, sets up and staxx in jeans are heat.

To me this was snoops worst album decent at the most there is always a song of snoop that will bangin for a while and there was none of those in this yeah there was cool songs on the album but they just songs that listen to a couple times than you put away the album this was a put away album.

the album woulda been much better at 14-16 tracks. I dont know why Snoop always puts 20+ tracks on his cds. If you took the worst 4 or 5 tracks off all the Snoop albums (besides Doggystyle) his catolgue would look way more impressive.

I like Snoop but thought this last album was his worst (yes even worse then Da Game Is To Be Sold...). I do however think Sexual Eruption was a great first single that showed Snoop can switch it up. Press Play was also a great track, wish more of the album sounded like that one.

idunno. you could cut this album down to an EP and i still probably wouldnt like it. wayyy too many wack tracks on it, and even the hot songs dont hit like they do.
Still weirds me out how people dont like BCT. That's easily snoops second best album

Album Sucks for the simple reason that Snoop Dogg, Teddy Riley And Dj Quik were not at their best, actually Teddy Riley was a big disapointment on the album knowing that he made some classic i was expecting some next level shit, the lyrics were aight and the subject on the songs sucks badly, its like he's just talking shit, the best thingg about this album though is the mixing, Dj Quik did a great job, and actually Dj Quik , Terrace Martin and frequency had The Best joints on this album, hopefully the album number 10 will be something Amazing , I got hopes , now that I know that Quik, Terrace and Dre are involved

just because it's not a gansta album doesn't mean that it's a wack album it's stupid. Of course we all prefer a Dre snoop produced album like back in the days . But He did something different i liked for the that i thought it was a refreshing album . With no much replay value but with some good song listed in the thread . I'm open minded and snoop proved with this one that it's not just ur typical gansta rapper he 's an artist who try something different just for the fun of it . and i respect that!
