Raptalk.Net just received this brand new Crooked I banger and got straight to work to get out there for all you fans! The track is titled "Go Hard" and sees Crooked I spitting HARD! (no pun intended). There are also some 2009 announcements made so listen closely!

I think that this means that Crooked I is just trying to get music out for the fans and not let the material recorded for BOSS go to waste as he's been sitting on it for so long. I think we can only speculate that he's getting ready to record brand new material for a commercial release. Only time will tell.
Although, I have to admit, Crook should really push BOSS on iTunes and Amazon and not a free download. He'd be crazy not to try to make some money off this.

Yeah he said their debut album is dropping in 2009 called "Gangster Emcee". If you recall this was originally the name of the mixtape, apparently it's an actual album now.

You speak the truth. There's supposed to be some classic material on that album from what I've been told and at least we will finally hear it. I just hope we don't have to wait until the END of HHW Vol. 2 to hear it. LOL.

I might be in the minority here but I'd rather pay the nine bucks and get a real-pressed album that I can bump while I drive home from the store I bought it at then have my first experience of listening to it be an MP3 download on my computer. I know it's weird to be bitching about some free music but to me, it's like waiting all these years for an album from Crooked and its a "download release" like his last EP. It's kind of fucked that physical music is becoming extinct. I just don't get the music industry.

I think Crooked realize that he has absolutely ZERO chances of putting this outdated album on a major label... It's sad that even a dope rapper like Crook get's ZERO interest from Major Label CEO's and that's a FACT!
it's even more sad that people would be telling that to him for years and all he did is delayed this album over and over again and now it's too late to even put this on some good independent record label like Koch etc
But overall I'm glad that he's gonna released instead of putting another album in the vault like Untouchable or Say Hi To The Bad Guy... but if would be a smarf move for him to put all 3 albums for 39,99$ on Amazon and make some money off those songs... and I know people would buy it like CRAZY 8)!

Don't rationalize it. He does have some amazing original work, but the majority of what he puts out is mixtapes and freestyles. There are rappers out there who have no chance of doing anything mainstream, yet they still drop albums.

I think we'd probably see Str8 Bosses over BBC since it was the b-side to NWA. BBC was more attached to the album when it was called Boss Muzic if memory serves me correct.
Either way I'm hoping at least 75% of it is unheard. That would be tight.

This shit is bananas, when we were told that Crooked I was gonna make an announcement I was hoping it was a BOSS release date and when we never got that announcement I started thinking about how FRESH it would be if Crooked I would just restart the HHW series.
To this day I still have those Freestyles in rotation. I think I listen to Crooked I's HHW's more than I listen to actual albums.
