50 just drop in on hot 97 he sayd he will premiere his new single on hot97.
What's he finna do if this one flops like "Get Up " ?
-
get up is dope tho....
-
The guy has more money then he could spend I don't think he would care
-
hopefully we get to hear this tonight.
-
Get Up was dope indeed but not grimey enough. It's still very polite.
-
get up is dope tho....
true. 1 of the most played songs on my computer.
-
yeah its different its got that heat (jus the instrumental) and 50's lyrics, it is what it is

-
I tuned out on 50 a long time ago
-
The guy has more money then he could spend I don't think he would care
Which is exactly why he should be putting out dope music and not worrying about sales. You're rich nigga so satisfy your fans!
-
good news. 8)
-
According to Young Legend of onsmash.com, it's going to feature R. Kelly.
I'm very skeptical about how it's going to sound...
-
The guy has more money then he could spend I don't think he would care
You are right I think atm I would change the statement to 'I dont think he does care'.... He has a HOT beat right there... one of the best I have heard in a while and he sounds half asleep on it... if he wants any sort of legacy/ any reason for aftermath/interscope to sort him a new deal then he needs to drop some HEAT on the rest of this album!
-
If its true that if features Kellz then I hope it's this joint that was mean for Detox:
Yes R Kelly is on the album, and the song is probably one of the best songs on the album. The song is called "Could have been you." Kellz is on the hook with Dre and 50. The hook is crazy how Kellz did it! No need to trip, and it sounds West Coast like a mutha fucka!
Janky...
Oh yeah! produced by D.J. Khalil. The track is crazzzzzzzzzy!!!!!!!!!
Janky...

Oh shit, had no idead, r.i.p.
WcSoldier release date is suppose to be Febuary 4th.
-
i wanna hear this!
-
when (time) is this schedule to premiere? i imagine it'll leak (at least radio rip) soon after..esp. if this was for detox, definitely wanna' hear this.
-
well if it's that track i can imagine that dre has been taken off it completely. also it's probably mixed/tweaked by dre as well as being produced by khalil.
-
if this doesn't show up real soon , imma consider this another hoax
-
The guy has more money then he could spend I don't think he would care

in that case the fool should lock himself up in a room and listen to power of the dollar for a week straight so he will make another classic material like that.
-
so i heard this might be dropping today as its friday?
-
Is there already a exact release date for the album ?
yeah i think he is going for the annerversery of his first album on the 4th febuary 09
-
well, January 1st didnt happen lol.
-
Where the fuck is this?
-
It's coming out tomorrow, called "I Get It In" and it's produced by Dr.Dre.

-
I Get It In?
i mean its Dre, has potential right there. but sounds like some club joint, better be a BANGER! ;)
-
good news thanks meho! its taken 50 3 albums to get back to a proper DRE single. that's why his first album blew up in the first place. i got high hopes that this shit will be off the chain, at least on production 8)
-
A 1st single produced by Dre for an Aftermath artist :o .... last time this happened , it was 2004 ...
I'd like to believe (well anyways if it's true , we all know that G-Unit dudes have the tendancy to qualify a lot of songs "Dre produced" in which Dre is just involved in the mixing or add production ) this song can be even just 70-75% as good as "In Da Club" but I don't hold my breath ... it will probably another Come and Go or Fire :-X
-
I Get It In?
but sounds like some club joint
I'm dissapointed aswell , I was waiting for 50 to give his solutions to stop the financial crisis on his 1st single ... :D
-

LOL, that would be classic. ;D
i hope its the ultimate banger of all time lol. :P
-
i'd like to believe that 50 aint gonna drop no crappy shit after 'get up' which was banging and dre wasn't even credited on (best believe he was responsible though). 50 has had his pick of detox leftover beats so we will see 8) i just hope he got plenty more dre production on the actual album - 5/6+ tracks would be sweet.
-
Should be crazy. Im hoping for some GRODT shit.
-
come and go was actually a banger
-
come and go was actually a banger
Come & Go was the ULTIMATE disappointment ever!
he said it was going to be "In Da Club Pt. 2" & it was far, FAR from it. :-\
-
I thought Khalil produced this? good to hear its Dre..
i also hope its the joint that was meant for Detox..give us an idea of what Dre is working with..

everything was meant for Detox, at one point  ;)

^they say its Dre but how many times have we seen "new "insert name here", produced by Dr. Dre *FIRE*"?
i mean, 2 days after it comes out they might realize, wow it was produced by Khaled lol.

well then that was pathetic & 50 should be sued for false advertisement cuz that shit was like ONE-BILLION times worse than In Da Club lol.
-
'come and go' was crap imo, it sounded like an unfinished track. very unusual, certainly not radio frienfly and definitely not 'in da club part 2' as 50 stupidly claimed. it wasn't a single in the end and i think it was even worse than 'fire'. beat wise 'get up' is the closest thing that 50 has put out to 'in da club', along with 'outta control rmx' which had a classic dre beat.
also i'd believe 50 if he's saying it's dre this time cause its confirmed that he has actually worked with him for this album. if dre had worked with him properly supplying a good amount of beats for all his albums (especially on singles) he prolly woulda sold a lot more copies (especially with curtis). if a formula works (in da club) then stick with it, especially if it sells 10 million albums. interscope suck.
-
^both Outta Control beats were beyond amazing.
the OG banged hard, but the Remix had an equally sick beat too. ;) 8)
-
the OG outta control was pretty tight but the remix was an entirely different track and vastly superior 8)
-

Oh shit I forgot about this track for a minute. Both tracks bang but I prefer the remix. 8)

the instrumental > http://www.zshare.net/audio/5368498843b11275/
-
Gunz Come out beat is a dope grimey instrumental aswell ... anyways I'd say that the 1st 8 beats ( the 4 on GRODT , In Da hood , the 2 on the Massacre and the remix of OOC) 50 got from Dre are absolutely fire , the 2 on GRODT OST are nothing special and both on Curtis are HORRIBLE

actually i think it's not that bad at all; it has a hard twist to it if you know what i mean ;)
i used to feel the same way though.
anyway, wouldn't you agree that you're overrating In Da Club a bit?
sure, i think it's a nice one from that category, but i wouldn't state that it's one of the standout tracks from the album

ya, gunz come out was SICK. completely agreed with ya statement.
-
I loved Talk About Me and When It Rains It Pours. Talk About Me is just banging, nice violins in the chours. And When It Rains is not only a sick instrumental (I always thought Hi-Tek did some ghost production on it) but it's also one of the rare emotional songs from 50.
Come And Go beat was just a loop but had a dope basic melody imo, just sounded unfinished and 50 sounded very clear and focused. But Fire as a song is garbage, beat is cool.
-
come & go? have i missed sumttin.. someone upp dat shit
-
50 cent - come and go (aka in da club part 2) http://www.zshare.net/audio/536925142871726f/
imo this track is terrible, annoying as hell.
-
not bad
-
I liked come and go it had a sinister sound on it and 5 flowed better on that track then most of the album..3 always thought they were referring to game in the chorus...bring em in in kick em out you aint fif and we aint speaking biitch...
-
i cant believe any of u are hyped for this same old 50 n dre formula .. its done and played out - get up was the exact same thing .. no 1 cares anymore .. most of your are also forgettin 50 markted str8 2 the bank as bein produced by dre - it was co produced by dre and done by tye fyfe .. it will probz be the same situation here ..dre probably mixed the record and that was it khalil probably produced it
-
Remember disco inferno?flow sounds sicker over dre drums nigga..and it wasn't even produced by dre
-
the track was sent to dre to 'tweak' the drums and mix so yes he's correct to say it was dre drums
the old production argument especially in regard to dre has been done again and again but i like the angle that the true producer of a record is the person who really brings it to life. more recently dre has been turning beats into records and not neccesairly taking full credit for it/being credited for mixing. example - 'been through the storm' on busta's big bang lp. the record is 'produced' by sha money xl but according to snoop it sounded like a completely different record when dre had finished with it.
it aint just word of mouth, i can easily hear dre's influence on a record a mile off. the snoop and r kelly single produced by nottz, candy shop produced by scott storch, get up produced by scott storch. that disco inferno tune bangs too. i bet that 'straight to the bank' sounded nothing like the finished version before dre messed with it.

Theirs a big difference between someone who makes beats and a producer.in any other genre of music the producer for say a rock album.he doesn't come up with the melody or play the instruments.he gives everything a cohesive sound and arranges everything putting his own personal touch.that what dr.dre does.he's a producer in the actual sense of the word
-
yeah thats dope
Id like to hear face over that shit
-
i thought 'talk about me' was absolutely banging, definitely an underappreciated dre beat 8)
-
hopefully this (finally) comes today 8)

he doesn't come up with the melody?
do your homework
-
I didn't say dre doesn't.I was talking about producers.so understand what I'm saying first.and if you think dre came up with the melody for every song he takes credit for then your just silly lol

-
If you did your homework then you'd know that countless people have come out and said dre put his name over their productions...which would mean he does not come up with the melody

yeah i heard a lot of barking, but i can easily look through that ;)

Wouldnt bother me, Khalil is probably the hottest producer out imo

"Talk about me" was the most generic Dre beat ever...I know amateurs on Myspace that can make better beat on Fruity Loops...and please don't come up with arguments like "Ow at least it's perfectly mixed" lol...don't get me wrong I'm not hating on Dre, I'm a big fan of him, but this beat was just good. Not even above average.
-
"I know amateurs on Myspace that can make better beat on Fruity Loops" come on man, there's no way that shit can be taken seriously...
talk about me > http://www.zshare.net/audio/53730108cab49b4f/

anyone got an idea when this droppin?

this better drop today, could be the closest thing to an actual detox track we've heard so far 8)

I can assure you that if people heard this track without knowing it was Dre, they would just call it "Very Good"
Somehow, just because it's produced by Dr. Dre it's "Really dope super bangin"
I would like to know your opinion about another piano style beat of Dre, Obie Trice's "Oh No", IMHO it's 10X better.
-
^Talk About Me was a good beat.
that whole soundtrack was dope, very underlooked, imo.
-
You already know was a great track on that album.even spider loc came correct on that album.ill whip ya head boy is classic.50 needs to do tracks like that
-

if they just slapped that out as a G-Unit album, they would get more get more respect.
that soundtrack was some DOPE shit! ;) 8)
-
damn this is torture >:(
-
damn im waiting hahaha
-
Does anybody have the cds for "Get Up"? The song really grew on me.
-
supposedly going to be played on hot97 shortly :U
-
Yeah Flex is suppose to drop it in few mins, here's the stream: http://www.youstream.fm/radio/SwagAddiction
-
They playing it now... 8)
-
the beat reminds me of Just A Lil Bit
-
hahah FO SHOOO..its on!!!!!!listening at this moment
-
sounds like a flop to me. 50, dre y'all are actually idiots for this one!
i hope i eat my words though
-
I missed it :'(
-
you missed out on just a lil bit part 2. if this is supposed to be detox shit then im sorry but its definitely over for dre. get up is 100 times better than the shit i was listening to just now but i hope it sounds better in high quality cause there was possibly some stuff going on in the background.
-
This shit sounds weak. I mean anoter club song from 50, with another forced flow. The beat I can't tell, because of 100x Flex drops, it sounds like Just A Lil Bit, maybe Storch co-production. The thing is, I couldn't tell the background effects, so that might change.
I gotta hear the dj free version before I decide though.
-
not good 1st thoughts
cant wait to hear it
-
i recorded it so i will upload something in a minute if peeps wanna hear a short piece of it. insane amount of drops and my stream died after a while too.

What were you expecting from 50? Since "In Da Club" he's been trying to make somethin sexual for the ladies or re-create the club formula. He still hasn't realized its songs like "I Get Money" that we really wanna hear from him.
+1 for sendin me "Get Up".

I don't mind club tracks, it's more that 50 sounds so unrelaxed and forced, he's overthinking it when creating 1st singles. That's why I Get Money was so dope, he was just freestyling, planning on using it for the mixtape, until Banks or somebody else told him to put it on the album.
Here's the audio, beware of the Dj drops: http://www.zshare.net/audio/537416058e767969/

shit sounds kinda weak if you ask me, get up was way better. dre is falling off hard if this is the shit he is giving his artists for as lead singles. still, will wait on the full cdq version for final judgement.

i see why ppl say sounds like just a lil' bit pt.2 damn the hook is so weak and uninspired. fuck how tagged it is  thought this was supposed to have R.Kelly? Maybe this isn't the track meant for Detox then.
this is tagged to death, can barely hear anything. but what i hear aint very good. Dre came weak on it for his standards.
-
Shit sounds pretty generic on first listen, can see it catching on though. That whole "Sunday monday tuesday wednesday" thing sound like he jacked it from T Pain on that G Malone song. Needa hear this beat high quality, too really judge. Think I can hear pianos etc in the background...
-
I want to hear this in CDQ.
-
I think that once in CDQ, the beat will be banging and the bridge and the hook are pretty dope too but the verses... "I hate to say I told you so but I told you so", lol, that shit is corny as fuck, 50 should get drunk or high and stop thinking so much.
-
sounds like there are some interesting effects on the drums and maybe some piano shit going on in the background but this so wasn't what i was expecting. i was expecting something completely FRESH sounding. get up was banging - something like that with a brighter melody and an epic chorus would have set it off. this shit is recycled as hell.
the worst thing is we gotta assume this is one of the better club beats that dre had to give to 50. if not then what's going on? fail for 50 and dre step your game up man :loopaper:
-
Doesn't matter what the beat sounds like now, the lyrics and flow are shit. Get Up was mad tight, flow was alright, beat was bangin, lyrics were OK. This shit ain't half as good, and it'll flop just like Get Up did.
-
I'm pretty sure this will sound very dope in cdq...
but judging by this radio rip...not bad
-
my own lil' edit on the chorus

lmao!!
-
if this is how the beat sounds then dre has problems that sounds like a fruity loops beat, i mean come on dre you gotto be putting out better stuff than this
-
Radio rip sounds rather weak and 50 licks the locks of shit that form when bears shit in their own fur.
-
if theres one more verse to it, i think im going to like this. otherwise its too short...
most of the comments are the usual "50 Cent didnt make a classic song" hate lol.
Just A Lil' Bit was a good song, imo, with a great beat.
this is going to be an average song, but it can be an enjoy able song.
a good CDQ listen is in order before i drop the final thoughts; it needs another verse though. these 50 Cent two verse singles arent cutting it for me. :-\
-
First things first, the beat. Some of you are saying the beat isn't all that great. That's the truth. The element that is going to make this beat addictive is def the all-star Aftermath mixing team.. Definitely a cold feel to this production. A subtle bassline if you listen carefully, drives the second half of each verse.
The song has a crossover element to it. "I get it in" Is he fucking, or hustling? The verses will tell u about the girls of course. The tone of this song is bravado.. If you like to brag about dumb shit or you feel inspired by listening to someone brag about dumb shit (Aka your typical mainstream rapper) you will like this song. This is also the reason why I'm not feeling Jay anymore.
Me? I'm real, I ain't fuckin' with it.
-
From the version i downloaded. with all the fucking funk flex bombs n useless chatter, it was hard to pay attention to the song. But imo the song is great, but not bad. average Dre/50 track. But ima wait til i hear the CDQ, and listen to it a few times before i make my decision.
-

come on just admit that you're getting way too excited all the time :P
then become frustrated shortly after
see i wasn't really expecting anything, since it's a single.
right now, the preview sounds boring.

More like he jacked Cherelle and Alexander O'neal's Saturday Love (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v3oDPUDymwE&feature=related)

really average production..whole song is just weak
