When I deposit money I always go into the bank and hand it over to a clerk and ask for a receipt - although I know that doesn't really help the situation :P

Lol those scumbags are asking for more bailout moneys....so maybe they are taking a loan from you in the meantime?
Anyhow, sorry about the bounced check..hope it gets squared away...watch out for the fee they will try and assess you for their mistake making your check bounce.

Naw, it was made inside the bank with a teller. Most of the time i keep my reciept, but i looked at it after the depposit, and it showed my new account balance (including the deposit that was just made) so i figured....the money is in there. Then i check my shit online yesterday....and no deposit is recorded.
