It probably failed because there were over 200,000 people trying to watch it. I'm not so sure that Ustream is capable of that many viewers logging in at the same time.
However, Low Key was updating his Twitter messages while at the show. He said Crooked I beasted it. He performed "The Kite" and killed it I guess.

I dunno, I was speculating as to what they're gonna do with the footage. But here's the answer:
I'm in a rush, so i'm gonna make this brief.
Spoke with amalgam today. Apparently the problem with the live feed had to do with the partner they paired with to handle the feed, having some obvious technical difficulty. In fairness they did all they could, and in reality, it really isn't their fault. They did all they could to try to bring this to you, unfortunately it didn't go down. I can tell from having spoken with them, they are equally as upset at disappointing everybody as you are all upset at not being able to catch the feed.
Going forward amalgam is working to make sure their hands will not be tied in the future, as they are setting up to be able to handle the live streams/feeds from in house.
To answer those who have been asking, the footage of the show will be up, they are in the process of rendering. Expect that footage to be up over the next few days.
As i was waiting for the feed myself, I can certainly understand the frustration some of you have been venting about over the last 24 hours. I'm not going to place myself on the cross for them but at the same time i will say...in my personal opinion i think they are doing a great job, they are including the people from this board, those who have been to amalgam events know they are doing their best and letting the internet soldiers be a part of this whole amalgam/joe movement. So yes, they take an L for gettin everybody hype about the feed...and it not going down, but they also acknowledged it, are taking steps to rectify what happened, and still providing y'all with footage of a concert that many wouldn't normally have been able to see.
Anyway, just wanted to give you a quick (maybe not so quick) update. There will more than likely be more details to follow when i get some time.
