I agree that the US is better at football but Canada has a lot of young high school talent going to US colleges for football... more than ever before. Ever heard of Michael Foulds? That cat could very well play in the NFL some day. He's a 6'4" 235lb quarterback for St. Andrews College just outside of Toronto. My team (which has the second-best defense in the city... averaging 4.7pts and 163yds against per game going into that game) played them and he roasted us for 59 points. He runs a 4.4 fourty and US colleges rank him number 3 in North America. Also, at age sixteen (he's eighteen now) he lead Canada's under-eighteen team to an upset victory of the US's under-eighteen teams in a best-of-three series.
Vancouver has the second most movie productions in North America. (behind hollywood)
Toronto is number three too if I'm not muistaken. Also, a lot of acting and directing talent has come from Canada.

just to tell u that i personnaly don't give a fuck bout whut u say , u betta in all of this but look like ya get beat the fuck out by team canada in hockey, but since that defeat, ya don't fuck with hockey no more, u searchin some other shit to be proud of but i still don't give a fuck :)

I don't even like hockey, but I'm just proud of my country because we "breathes eat and shit hockey", and we hadn't won gold in 50 years. It makes me happy that our team could achieve that once again.

i'm serious no one in the US likes hockey that much...maybe up in the north, but just becuase they went crazy in colorado doesn't man that 40% of the nation is on fire for hockey....only probably 5% or 6% of america is in to hockey that's why fox sold it's rights to NHL games, they were pulling bigger numbers for re runs of Married with Children than for NHL playoff games
