Title: Mexico offers $2 mil reward for traffickers
Post by: Elano on March 24, 2009, 03:33:06 AM: Mexico's attorney general Monday published a list of 24 drug kingpins in the country's six largest gangs and offered rewards of up to two-million-dollars for each.

An official government publication offers "up to 30 million pesos (two million dollars) to whomever provides information that is useful, true and leads to the location and arrest" of the listed traffickers.

Among the men listed are the head of the Sinaloa cartel, Joaquin "el Chapo" Guzman, and the heads of La Familia and Los Zetas.

Guzman, who has been a fugitive since he escaped from a maximum security prison near Guadalajara in 2001, recently made Forbes magazine's list of the world wealthiest people.

Since taking office in December 2006, Mexico's President Felipe Calderon has deployed 36,000 soldiers and police against the drug cartels, who are fighting each other for control of lucrative drug routes into the United States, the world's biggest market for cocaine.

Violence linked to the cartels claimed more 5,300 lives in Mexico in 2008, according to the authorities, and the Mexican press has reported that another 1,000 people have been killed so far this year.

It has to happen one day. I mean..him going in to mexico..that's balls right there. I know he can do it.

Dog already captured the rapist who was hiding out in Mexico & got arrested for that. And spent time in their jail.
