Protecting the people's rights? Conservatives? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
And by the way, you know why people are confused with the whole "Conservative/Republican crap"? Because when your ass was 6 years old, all these motherfucking conservatives (like 90% of them) were rallying behind Bush for 6 straight damn years. So seriously, excuse those folks that want to associate the two.

This kid is a mini douche bag

I agree, the principles of what conservatism stands for were long forgotten many years ago and without a doubt, the same conservatives who bemoan the democrats now, were the same ones supporting the administration of George Bush. This is what I am saying though, it becomes a pack mentality, you regard the one side as bad, whether that's liberal so called conservatives or whatever so you automatically conclude the other side must be good.

There is definitely hardly any more moderates anymore in U.S. Politics. One of the big reasons why is the increased power the Speaker of the House has nowadays. It all started with Newt Gingrich, every other Speaker of the House since then(except for 1) has followed the same model. Basically, any new Representative has to "be in line" with the rest of the party or else their funds get taken away. I'll use this as an example... let's say you're a Liberal in Congress, and you're constantly voting against some sort of Environmental Issue. Nancy Pelosi will probably pull you aside and threaten that person to change their vote or start losing the funds soon. The system of Politics LOL

Real talk...it's no wonder why voting along party lines has become even more of a joke recently.

Yeah a similar system exists here only you are given two choices, the party whip aka the decision maker, gives the politician two choices, agree with us by voting in line with the party viewpoint or don't vote at all, a good freedom of choice huh
