Even with just hearing A-yo, Ms International, City Lights, 4 Minutes, & Dangerous MC's I already liked it better than Relapse.  Blackout 2 beginning to shape up as something that's missing from hip hop right now.

autotune adds NOTHING to the album...no clue why they would use it..except that its the hottest fad right now.

I think you're letting it bother you too much... if they had like full songs of autotune I would understand your point

if they were trying to really cash in on the fad they would have released a single ala Lil Wayne and Kanye West

maybe..i just dont see why they had to do it.  anyways, theres plenty of bangers on here, so the few times they use it wont change my opinion about the album...i just wish they hadnt used the autotune effect, is all. :)

Dope CD, there's not a single weak track, just a couple average ones.. I miss a real banger though, a crazy standout or two.

+1 to everyone above me... I am trying my best to be patient... I have this ordered and its not coming for a week after the release but its gunna be worth waiting... it only cost $11 USD which is round $25ish NZD I think... cant wait... but props to you all for your great taste in REAL hip hop  8)

What site you order off homie?

No site I dont have credit card... this chick from JBHIFI scored me a deal since I was 'getting some real shit' and its cheaper than if it hits their shelves! Only downside is the wait bro but I can handle for that price!

you can easily get a bank account and use a debit card. just a tip

ALBUM OF THE YEAR SO FAR

over Padded Room? :o

i haven't bumped this yet, so i don't know; but i don't doubt that Meth & Red made anything less than a GREAT album. 8)

Yeah I think it is better than Padded Room, close but better.

I'm going to bump this now, I highly doubt it will be as great as Padded Room but I am sure it will be great!

This forum is a bunch of bandwagon jumpers I swear. If two people say something everyone else feels exactly the same. This is album is average. Its not bad but not great.I noticed this album has a heavy south influence which most people usually complain about.Theirs no bad songs but nothing great and niether red or meth say anything memorable.I'd give it a 7 out of 10

Been listening to this for a week now while I run. Solid cd but with no standout tracks, production is really weak/ or doesn't fit the the theme of the song on 3/4 of the album. My favorites are I'm Dope, City Lights, A-Yo, Dangerous MC's, Miss International, Four Mintues To Lock Down,

Well guys I probably going to catch some flack for this but I downloaded this after all the positive responses I got on here but the overall impression I got from this album was underwhelming. I mean there are some good tracks on here, the album is listenable but the production was very uninspired, too many generic sounding tracks. Now specifically for Method Man, well some of his verses were good but overall, the 2009 method man and redman, are wayyyyy past their best.

Even Rick Ross' & Lil Wayne's albums shitted over Bustas album, pretty much anything did.

Not sure about Relapse though, imagine Relapse production mixed with Blackout 2 vocals..  8)

With the exception of "Cereal Killa" and "Run 4 Cover" (both RZA heaterz). Too bad RZA didn't contribute to Blackout 2.
