Wrong. What all religions have in common is the belief in a higher power. Whether you do something as big as pray 5 times a day towards Mecca or something as little as believe that some big dude is staring down at you as you wipe your ass on the toilet, you are still religious.
Here's another way to look at it: a lot of people are dead set against abortion not because they are personally offended by the act, but because "God" or someone writing for "God" said that it is wrong. They may not go to church all but once a year, but they're belief in God prevents them from taking part (or practicing) in certain acts that "God" would not approve of. A lot of Catholics don't wear condoms because the Pope said they're evil regardless of the overwhelming benefits condoms bring. I could go on all day with the examples.

are you dumb? you dont seem to understand how it works. there are levels and steps in religion, you can be in a higher level or a lower level with religious beliefs.
If youre on a lower level, you dont follow the religion stricly, but you simply believe in god, never go to church, fast, follow holidays, or be strict with shit. if youre on a higher level, you attend church, celebrate holidays, fast, follow the religion as close as possible, etc .
Is that easier to get?
