I don't think that there was much unreleased material Eazy had. the only one I know for sure is his ice Cube diss, which Yella claimed to "have the only existing copy, and it's never leaving my hands" or something to that effect.

I know he was to do some stuff with Guns ANd Roses prior to his death, but from what I understand, the instrumental was in its early stages, and Eazy never layed anything down to those tracks...

Shame I know, but somebody at Ruthless should do us all a favor a leak some of those TRUE acapellas, so DJ's and producers with talent can remix the shit outta Eazy...

you right, yella will never sell or leak that ice cube diss...he is way to loyal to eazy & ice cube to do that, so we will never hear it at all....some things are better kept in the dark haha...

I get where you're coming from, but man, Pacs name is still out there on the mainstream level, BIG to some degrees name is still out there... E's been missing for a minute except for devoted West Coast heads... his 10 year death anniversary should've blessed us with a remix project produced by the likes of Quik, pooh, Dre, etc... what do we get...? More damn Eazy Greatest hits compilations;  My point is, yeah, the classics are the classics, but man, it'd be nice to hear his vocals remixed, just to hear how that shit would sound... E would still hit hard in 09

Don't know how much there is in the way of unreleased NWA tracks.  As far as Eazy-E, here are a few unreleased track names:

"Remember Me, The Doctor" (Unreleased skit from the" Str8 off tha Streetz of Muthaphukkin' Compton" sessions-mentioned in 1994 Source Interview)

"Everything I Luv" (Unreleased track from "Str8 off tha Streetz of Muthaphukkin' Compton" sessions-Snippet Previously available on  Eazy Info line around Summer 1995)

"Yellow Brick Road to Compton" (Public Service type song recorded for the City of Compton in exchange for being able to shoot the Real Compton City G's video within
the city limits)

"Black Nigga Killa" (OG) (Produced by Homicide.  I'm guessing this was around the time he was recording tracks for "51/50" and "Temporary Insanity.")

"Still Fuck 'Em (OG) (Original version Featuring MC Ren, and I believe produced by Dj Yella.  A remixed version appeared on the "Impact of a Legend" set.)

Ice Cube Diss Track (I don't believe the title of the track has ever been released. It was produced by Dj Yella, who has stated that he will not release it.)

I don't believe that's all of them.  There are probably a few more, although I don't believe he left a very large body of unreleased work.

use the search engine.  ;)
Ren speaks on a couple in his interviews with HHC (overnight blackman with Cube) and thaformula.com (niggaz4life leftovers) + a there's a unreleased Cube/Ren track produced by Bobcat.

Was that the track that was supposed to appear on Cube's "Peace Disc" from his "War and Peace" albums?  I think I remember reading that there was a separate Ice Cube/MC Ren collaboration that was recorded before they recorded "Hello." But for whatever reason, it ended up being dropped from the album.

Overnight Blackman was recorded around 89-90,probably Dre on the beat. Source; MC Ren/Hip Hop Connection (Scans posted)
The one you're talking about was recorded during the same sessions as "Comin´After You".
Ren talks about this one in one of his interviews with Rap Pages and Yash´s WCA interview.
(^^^I have posted all the interviews in the NWA thread^^^)

not sure if this rumor is correct, but on Bone's e.1999 eternal Eazy was supposed to be featured on "Mr. Bill Collector" but one of the engineers fucked up and deleted E's verse..... man imagine how E wouldve sounded like over that track. somebody go jump the engineer that did it!!

Wasn't Yellow Brick Road To Compton supposed to be Eazy's second album? I remember Dr. Dre talking about it after Ice Cube left on Arsineo (spelling?) Hall.

Don't forget about that infamous (rumored) diss track
I think it was Sleepwalkers (OG) where Eazy-E talks about cutting Dre's dick off and make him eat it and setting snoop's hair on fire

there are a few songs left that never leaked
but it's not as much as Pac or other artists
really sad that they never leaked

MC Ren said in an interview that there were some leftovers from the Niggaz 4 Life sessions
I don't think there are a lot of (if any) Str8 Outta Compton leftovers

Somebody (I think it was Ice Cube himself) mentioned that some of Cube's early songs were originally written for Eazy
It is unknown whether they were ever recorded though
the songs are Get Off My Dick, Once Upon A Time, Gangsta's Fairytale ("Come sit on the lap of Eazy-E")

There are supposed to be many more unreleased Eazy tracks, apparently he was going to have one of his albums like a double album or something and it ended up without most of the songs, so whether this is true or not I don't know but I just hope we get to hear them if they are out there.

L to R: John Menzano, Matt Sorum, Slash, Eazy E, Jimmy Z, DJ Yella, Teddy ZigZag

In 1991, Slash and Matt Sorum had been hanging and jamming with my blues band the Capitol Homeboyz for the past year or so every Tuesday at the legendary Baked Potato in Hollywood. And when I say hangin' we're talkin' power hangin' with all the trimmings...porn stars, rock stars, rap stars.... up for days, yada yada,yada...

Guns N' Roses was the biggest rock group in the world at the time and NWA was the biggest rap group in the world. Both continually debuting at number 1 on the Billboard charts.

Axl was into NWA and used to wear an NWA cap during concerts.

Eazy E, Dr. Dre, Gary Ballen and I went to see a GnR concert at the Forum, Backstage Axl, Eazy and me had a conversation of collaborating. I was handed the job of putting it together.

Putting the session together wasn't easy considering the characters involved - i.e. schedules and bad habits - but I managed to do it.

We came up with a rocking track...as you do with that lineup.

The tough part was getting Easy E and Axl to finish the raps and lyrics...and getting them to keep their word to show up at the studio...

Man how I tried but to no avail....

We coulda been contenders.

[I don't know where the recordings are now]

Wasn't Yellow Brick Road To Compton supposed to be Eazy's second album? I remember Dr. Dre talking about it after Ice Cube left on Arsineo (spelling?) Hall.

Honestly, I'm not sure if that was ever a title being considered for his second album.  It's possible.  Chad Vader might know.  The only unused album title that I'm familiar with for Eazy was "Temporary Insanity."  That would have been his second album.  And it was advertised that way on the "51/50" maxi-single.  (Some record stores back in the day even had a listing for it in their computers, although of course, it was never released) Then after Rhythm D started producing for Eazy, they put out "It's On (187 um Killa)" and the "Temporary Insanity" project became "Str8 off tha Streetz of Muthaphukkin' Compton."
I have no proof, but in my opinion, some of the tracks they recorded for "Temporary Insanity" didn't make it on to "Str8 off tha Streetz..." though.  And I'm sure there were tracks recorded for "Str8 off tha Streetz..." that were done after they had already abandoned the "Temporary Insanity" idea, as well.  I have a feeling some of the tracks that were remixed and released on "Impact of a Legend" might have originally been intended for "Temporary Insanity."  "Black Nigga Killa" and "24 Hours to Live" too, probably.

Not sure.  Probably possible if they started recording for this album before Dre left for Death Row.  I know that "51/50" was released in '92.  I'm not sure when they started recording tracks for it though.  You'd think if they had started recording for it in '91 or earlier, that Dr. Dre production could be a possibility.

not to mention that Dre wasn't coming to the studio as much as before ( in 1991).

I let Johnny L answer this one  ;)

As someone previously mentioned, there were some reports that Eazy appeared on an unreleased version of "Mr. Bill Collector"  from Bone's "East 1999" album.  But I'm not sure that that one has ever been officially confirmed.  If anyone knows if that has ever been addressed in any interviews, let us know.  Tomica Wright did confirm in an interview conducted by "Tha Shack" website a few years ago that the original version of "Sleepwalkers" with Bone had a longer Eazy verse which was erased during a recording session.

Tha Shack: There were rumors that the SleepWalkers track on Bone?s Collection vol. 2 originally had a longer Eazy verse dissing Dre and Snoop. Will we ever get to hear the original?

Tomica Wright: The original version of the song did include Eazy?s vocals, which were erased in a session with Bone. Not sure if the verse dissed Dre or Snoop.

:-\  I can't believe they could actually let something like that happen.  It's a shame.  She also mentioned in that interview that the master recordings of at least 8 unreleased Eazy-E tracks "disappeared" from Ruthless Records shortly after Eazy passed.

"Black Nigga Killa" (OG) (Produced by Homicide )

"Still Fuck 'Em (OG) (Original version Featuring MC Ren, and I believe produced by Dj Yella.  A remixed version appeared on the "Impact of a Legend" set.)

the Still Fuck Em' Verse by Eazy is longer than what is on the "impact of a Legend " CD

Have you heard if there's any chance we'll get to hear them?  There's not been a whole lot of news out of the Ruthless camp in sometime (other than Hopsin).  I think their website has been "under construction" for about 4 years now.
