Looks like Mr. X to the Z, aka Xzibit, is on the way back to Hip-Hop. Well, it seems like The Hangover will be the seventh studio album by X. It will be his first release since the 2006 album Full Circle, but there is a different level to this rumor. I heard that in order to work with producer Dr. Dre, he signed a one album record deal with Aftermath Entertainment and Interscope Records. The concept for Xzibit's seventh studio album was born during a recording session meant for potential Detox material. Allhiphop

This rumor has been around for months and AHH.com is full of shit, wouldn't count on it.
Damn if this would be for real though...Slim Tha Mobsta, Xzibit -> say goodbye to Bishop if you haven't already...like Xzibit wouldn't get his album out before him also.
-
Hmm, will see...
-
Let's hope this shit is true. Ain't nuthin' like some new Xzibit produced by Dr. Dre.
-
wasnt this rumored years ago? not months lol
even the rumors of ice cube signin wit dre are still floatin..lol

if this is true then this is tight
X on Dre beats is always something to look forward too
-
This same rumor has been around for YEARS. I would like to know once and for all why the fuck Dre and X stopped working together in the first place.
-
1 reason might be cause "Man Vs. Machine" didn't sell that well, or maybe it was because Snoop Dogg and everybody started dissin' Xzibit at one point, well who knows. I know Xzibit been still workin' with Dr. Dre, on that Bishop Lamont project ("Hallelujah") but i don't understand why there's no new Xzibit songs produced by Dr. Dre.
-
well xzibit went and did the mtv thing but real talk tho
even or considerin man vs machine did do bad dre was dumb or xzibit was fot not tryna create a RESTLESS PART 2 considerin that album some consider classic and his best
IMO its both their faults aite x went the money route and where the money was but for x to say he repped his coast after that album hes wrong cuz
man vs machine
womd
full circle
and that mtv shit he was doin wasnt westcoast even tho he claims otherwise
bottomline DR. DRE & XZIBIT are two of the best for real and have made some of the dopest muzik, and jus like they got together for restless it should have happened again and not taken years for it to happen IF IT EVER HAPPENS AGAIN

how was man vs machine not west coast? dre, nate dogg, snoop dogg, knoc-turn'al ghost writing, ras kass, saafir, jelly roll, traci nelson, etc. - i think it was pretty west coast.
-
Really cant see this happening, although a Dre influenced X album would be good

I really like Man vs Machine, 3rd best album imo

Dre went the money route too. He signed a white boy who sings songs about murdering his wife.
Snoop dissed Xzibit?
-
yeah but xzibit is more on the im from the westcoast type of duke where he says he stays loyal to his fanbase but his muzik shows otherwise but thats dre and dre is a coast 2 coast type duke where hes a producer that produces for everyone
snoop dissed xzibit...he slapped him or called him a bitch or somethin i cant remember

Hahahahahahahha...aight than..

Bitchup said this in that new interview posted earlier ..
Yeah but we gotta put that on hold. Cause you know Crooked was involved in some bullshit. Praise god that he’s alive and he’s well. Fuck the hater that did that. Right now we just need Crooked to get well. So right now it’s just about finishing up [my album] The Reformation… finishing up Detox, Xzibit’s new album, Warren G’s new album…
-
i think this is true. did anyone else notice in that new interview bishop says the albums they are working in include detox, 50, em and xzibits album.
-
but dre could be producin one song and bishop could be a feature also?
(im sayin thats also what that could mean0
i think this is true. did anyone notice bishop mention the albums they were working in including detox, 50, em and xzibits album too.

Never heard anythin' about this, are you talkin' about Knoc writin' Dre's verse on "Symphony In X Major"?
Snoop dissed Xzibit?
Yeah and so did Daz Dillinger, Soopafly, J-Ro of Tha Alkaholiks, Jermaine Dupri and Lil' Bow Wow too.
-
man...the west needs a totally NEW facelift...i mean fareal...and not even the jerkin....
-
There are two ways this can play out...
1. It's bullshit
2. It's true but we won't hear anything and he'll get released soon
-
3. possibly but dre did executive produce two of his albums vs the others that have left didnt even get that
rakim

Okka: Yes, but Knoc also wrote the hook for that song.
-
Why "Grown Man Business" wasn't on "Weapons Of Mass Destruction" and was the original version of "L.A.X." really produced by Dr. Dre?
-
8) 8) 8)
his album better not get dicked around & pushed back & shit; but of course it will.
but X on Dre beats will be like Restless 2 & i am fine with that. 8)

Well, i don't really understand you sayin' that since Dre only had 3 beats on but he was the executive producer though. I hope there will be more then 3 beats from Dre on this new album, if it's happenin' and that Dre will be mixin' the whole album and i hope he's the executive producer too because doesn't the executive producer decide what tracks will appear on the album, like there might be hundreds of songs recorded for the album but doesn't he have the last word on what's included on the album?

correct.
even if Dre isn't producing the beat himself, he still listens to it, tweaks it & mixes it.
i have expect top of the line West Coast production. 8)

Maybe this muthafucka can confirm is the rumours are true or not, it's the dude who claims he's in contact with X and has photoshopped pictures of them together :D

Yeah, he said he was gonna hook them up but he couldn't do it, since he don't have them.
-
stat quo might end up back on the aftermath or he might get to release statlant officially so we'll see what happens
-
Bishop Lamont
Slim Da Mobster
Xzibit
I like that line up - all West Coast! But I know Xzibit ain't signing to Aftermath and Bishop Lamont ain't ever gonna drop and Slim Da Mobster is probably a tax write off... Damn Aftermath is wack...
-
I hope that's not true cause it means we will not get a new Xzibit album before like 2015, lol
-
gossip girl is really taking over it seems

I Don't Know Username Of One Of Them, But I Know He Gossip Tray Deee... About "Tha Hangover" I Don't Know Still, Is That The Name Of The Album, But I Do Know Dre Is One Of Producers Who Works On It... There's Bunch Of Tracks Already For The New Album, And Bishop Said It Right... They're Really Workin' On Those Albums ;) Peace!
-
Well, why don't you hook them up to all of us?
