Overrated is completely the wrong word for these. The word wack comes to mind. Replace Cudi with Young Jeezy, Fabolous with Nelly and 50 with Ja Rule and the list is complete.

I dont really listen to JAYZ that much but i dont see how he belongs on that list.. he had some really good albums... I also dont see how 50 cent belongs on that list... He makes dope songs and has good albums power of a dollar, get rich or die trying, massacre...

Yeah, I don't think even Soulja Boy considers himself a MC. It just seems like another "wack rappers were tired of" thread. I was actually thinking this list might include legit MC's that people actually think are overrated. Silly me.

No one I talk to think those rappers are serious emcees. Even the kids I know who listen to that shit think its "hot", they aren't going around saying these are amazing lyricists. They bump the shit because its catchy, not because of the lyrics.
Without a doubt, the most overrated rapper of all time is 2Pac. Regarded as the GOD MC by too many people. And this is coming from someone who loves Pac. Big would also make the list. Probably Jay as well.

I want to say Pac and Eazy E are the most over rated mc's yet at the same time how can they be so overrated when they clearly impacted the game as it is today?
I'd have The Game and Lil Wayne on the list for sure. I think most of that list is hating. Most of them aren't running around claiming to be huge mc's or lyricists.
