Title: THe 2000's Classic Albums (Stuck in the 90's people stay out)
Post by: ikke on November 28, 2009, 05:31:25 AM
Other thread was full with idiots who weren't capable of rationally thinking.
Just ignore the idiots.

Not Debatable:

Big L - The Big Picture [2000]

Eminem - The Marshall Matters LP [2000]

Jay-Z - The Blueprint [2001]

Tech N9ne - Absolute Power [2002]

Xzibit - Restless [2000]

Up For Discussion:
Bun B - Trill
Canibus - Rip The Jacker
Chamillionaire - Ulimate Victory
Common - Be
Game - Documentary
Ghostface Killah - SUpreme Clientelle
Ice Cube - Vol. 2.
Jay-z - The Black Album
Kanye West - The College Drop Out
Lupe Fiasco - Food & Liqour
Nas - Stillmatic
Outkast - Stankonia
Snoop Dogg Presents Tha Eastsidaz
UGK - Underground Kingz
WC - Guilty By Affiliation
50 Cent - Get Rich Or Die Tryin

If they were released in the nineties these would be classic.

Can't discuss '09 albums since they havent'stood the test of time yet.

IF 5 PEOPLE AGREE WITH CLASSIC STATUS THEN IT WILL BE ADDED TO CLASSICS OF THE 2000'S

Marshall Mathers LP - top album of all time, like legit top 20; stop hating.
Get Rich or Die Trying - near classic, but not on the same level as others; amazing stuff though.
College Dropout - near classic, right up there with GRODT.
The Documentary - Game's best album & another near classic.
The Blueprint - classic.
Restless - classic; one of the best produced albums ever.
The Black Album - debatable classic.
Ultimate Victory - personal classic.
Weapons of Mass Destruction - personal classic.
Doctor's Advocate - West Coast classic.
Padded Room - deserves more love, personal classic.
Escape Route - find it better than PR, but again, deserves more love, personal classic.
Mood Muzik II - personal classic, AGAIN, deserves more love.
Halfway House - personal classic.

All Classics are personal.

If you didn't like the chronic you wouldn't really consider it a classic as well.

But let's start getting a solid list of classics this decade.

EDIT: if the classics I listed aren't classic to you, most likely you don't like the artist or haven't listend to the albums properly.
WOMD would be classic if it wasn't for all the dr.de stans (which is mostly every WC fan =/)
