Is this worth listening to?

I thought he wasn't bad on Krazy but an entire album seems heavy.

downloaded it this morning and gave it a spin at class... not a bad album if you like some of Gucci's material, but he is not for everybody and that is evident on this board

1. "Classical" (Intro) (Produced by Drumma Boy) - 3/5, aiight for an opener, pretty funny though with the epic hook saying "Gucci" lol
2. "Interlude: Toilet Bowl Shawty/Mike Epps" - N/A
3. "Heavy" (Produced by Shawty Redd) - 3.5/5, I dig the concept even though it's just another jewelry/bling track, a few weak lines though
4. "Stupid Wild" (feat. Lil Wayne & Cam'ron) (Produced by Bangladesh) 4/5, banger that isn't supposed to be anything super lyrical, take it for what it is
5. "All About the Money" (feat. Rick Ross) (Produced by Drumma Boy) 3.5/5, dope beat but Gucci and Ross could have done more with the track, but it's straight
6. "Lemonade" (Produced by Bangladesh) - 2.5/5, ehh once again I could kinda dig the concept but not feelin' Gucci's voice/delivery here
7. "Bingo" (feat. Soulja Boy Tell 'Em & Waka Flocka Flame) (Produced by Scott Storch) - 2/5, Waka Flocka had the only decent part and it was short, highly disappointing Storch production
8. "Spotlight" (feat. Usher) (Produced by Polow da Don) - 3.5/5, the beat and Usher hook save this track mostly, but Gucci had a few lines I liked, didn't like his voice once again though
9. "I Think I'm in Love" (feat. Jason Caesar) (Produced by Zaytoven) - 3/5, it's aiight
10. "Bad Bad Bad" (feat. Keyshia Cole) (Produced by FATBOI) - 4/5, likin' the beat and Keyshia Cole did her thing, Gucci was tolerable here
11. "Interlude: Toilet Bowl Shawty/Mike Epps" 1:07 - N/A
12. "Sex in Crazy Places" (feat. Bobby Valentino, Nicki Minaj, & Trina) (Produced by FATBOI) - 3.5/5, good fuck song
13. "The Movie" (Produced by Jazze Pha) - 4/5, this one is pretty straight for me, Gucci's lyrics weren't wack anywhere IMO and Jazze Pha dropped a nice beat
14. "Volume" (feat. Wooh da Kid) (Produced by J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League) - 3.5/5, hype track
15. "Gingerbread Man" (feat. OJ da Juiceman) (Produced by Mannie Fresh) - 2.5/5, I'll just say this one is kinda funny but nothing more
16. "Wasted" (feat. Plies) (Produced by FATBOI) - 4/5, good party track and I have liked this one since it dropped, catchy hook and overall good single
17. "Kush Is My Cologne" (feat. Bun B, E-40 & Devin the Dude) (Produced by Drumma Boy) - 4.5/5, easily the best track on the album, no surprise lol
18. "Worst Enemy" (Produced by Drumma Boy) - 3.5/5, it is good to see Gucci drop a track that has some substance and meaning to it but damn his voice really brings it down for me, could have been a 4
19. "Wasted (Remix)" (feat. Lil Wayne, Jadakiss & Birdman - 3.5/5, I liked Jadakiss' verse the best, Gucci was aiight, not feelin' Wayne's voice but his flow was on point, Birdman is Birdman
20. "Interlude: Toilet Bowl Shawty/Mike Epps" 1: - N/A

overall I would give the album a 3/5, the main thing that brings the album down is lack of substance and Gucci's voice throughout the album, lyrically though I felt he improved... honestly I know most people on here who don't like Gucci won't check for the album but I can honestly say it's not the wack, garbage album that you all would expect  8)

My point exactly. Car accidents have seen a 26% rise since this leaked due to drivers not being able to make ration decisions. Something in the music effects the synapses.

Same cause thats the type of irrational actions that become common among Gucci listeners. Just out of interest did you find it harder to answer questions in class?

my comeback was funny yet you could feel hurt? damn now you mix up emotions, it's okay I'm sure that's how you are in real life as well since mommy never sent you to school, or at least a decent one, since you think that listening to music at school makes people groupies  ::)

Ahh your lack of education is shining through. A post can be funny from what persons perspective due to the hurt expressed by the poster (hence how hurt and humour work simultaneously in one post depending on whether you're the writer or reader). I don't want to bring my levels of education into it because I know I'll humiliate you so let's not go there.

The fact you repeated your MediumLoser shows you're lack of ingenuity and your disregard to realise a failed attempt. In life that could be a problem for you and hence I'd encourage you to focus on your ability to make clever decisions. If something fails don't keep at it. Assess the situation and see how you can turn the situation back into your favour.

I'm just here for the lulz and I got them at the expense of you and Gucci.

PS: next to the   smiley there's a link [more]. If you click on that you can access a whole array of smileys that could be used instead of  8)

1. Classical (Intro) - Good opener. Cinema like beat and hook fits it well. Gucci surprised me with the flow on here. - 3.5/5
2. Mike Epps Skit - N/A
3. Heavy - This reminds me of why I hate Gucci lol. Straight retarded at times. - 2/5
4. Stupid Wild - Sounds like Bangladesh re-sold the "You Don't Want Drama" beat LOL. Weak hook. Wayne gave a throwaway verse. Cam'Ron came pretty weak too minus a few lines. - 3/5

5. All About the Money - Beat sounds cartoonish. That "burr" shit on the hook is gay resulting in a weak hook once again. Rick Ross dropped the best verse. - 3/5
6. Lemonade - WTF is this? Retarded. - 1/5
7. Bingo - Waka Flocka Flame might be the worst name ever. This is what I expected from the song lineup. - 1/5

8. Spotlight - Gucci officially selling out lol. Good mainstream track though. Usher kills the hook and Polow did his thing on the beat - 3.5/5
9. I Think I'm In Love - Lol at the title for a Gucci song; more selling out. This is not good mainstream music lol. This Jason Caesar hook singer is awful - 1/5
10. Bad (3 times lol) - More bad, poppy mainstream crap - 1.5/5
11. Mike Epps 2 - N/A

12. Sex in Crazy Places - Beat is average. Bobby V is decent on here. I still don't get why people like Minaj; voice is annoying as fuck. Trina verses are always sexy lol. - 2.5/5
13. the Movie - More retard music - 2/5
14. Volume - Beat is hot. Hook is decent. Wooh Da Kid was ok. - 3.5/5
15. Gingerbread Man - Soon as I saw the title and featured guest, I already knew lol - more retarded music. - 2/5

16. Wasted - I must admit I am guilty of loving this one. Beat, hook, everything hot. My boy Plies on here too. - 3.75/5
17. Kush Is My Cologne - Beat is dope as fuck. Hook is decent. Bun B verse was simple but had it's moments. Gucci dropped a good verse. E-40 was wack as hell for the first half of his verse then he stepped it up when he actually started trying lol. Devin the Dude dropped the best verse on the song. - 3.75/5

18. Worst Enemy - I thought this was gonna be more slow and introspective. This beat and hook is so bad. Gucci finds a way to make a serious song cheesy lol. Lol at putting himself in the same category as T.I. & Jeezy - someone tell this fool he is far from there level. - 2/5
19. Mike Epps Skit - N/A
20. Wasted Remix - All around decent. - 3.25/5

Horrible. 3.5/10 album.

Gucci's last album sold 40K first week and he didn't even have close to the buzz that he does now, so I would think a little higher, but yeah he ain't gonna do no Wayne numbers or anything like that haha... I don't care really though cuz I don't have any intentions of copping the album

Gucci's last album sold 40K first week and he didn't even have close to the buzz that he does now, so I would think a little higher, but yeah he ain't gonna do no Wayne numbers or anything like that haha... I don't care really though cuz I don't have any intentions of copping the album
I'll stiil say 70K TOPS. I got no intention of buying either, but he tries to put himself in that T.I/Jeezy category; I think he badly wants to be lol. The point of my post was to say this: he ain't doing no T.I./Jeezy numbers lol. He has a large fan base but the majority of them are the "bootlegging" generation type of fans.

yeah I feel you on that, except I would also separate Jeezy and Tip... don't get me wrong I am a fan of Jeezy and copped his first 2 albums but T.I. is even beyond him on a whole other level musically and in the industry... true Gucci does have the "bootlegging" fans but he also has a whole new generation of fans who had never even heard of him before that are going to be all excited to go buy his album, and there has been LOADS of promo everywhere... but we'll see when the numbers come in, I'm curious to see if it is your 70K prediction or more, or even less lol  8)

let me break down the situation.

i've disliked 100% of everything i've ever heard from Gucci Mane - just can't stand his blatant retardation.

i've personally deemed him the worst rapper ever.

i can get into Wayne's music though; i feel Gucci can get down with that Wayne style.

out of the 20-something songs off this album, i give him the chance of one being tolerable.

so somebody who has bumped this album & shares some of my views towards Gucci; are any tracks worth listening to? i give everyone fair chance.

for the record, i hated "Stupid Wild".

honestly my NET ninja, I know your taste so I really doubt you would feel anything on the album, but check out "Kush Is My Cologne" cuz Devin The Dude makes that song instantly worth downloading  8)
