My thoughts on Mike Tyson

Do we in America, our politicians have nothing better to do than want to prosecute Mike Tyson for going to Cuba without permission, like thousands of other americans do every year. But since he's "Mike Tyson" the govt wants to make an example and exercise an old law that is loosely enforced this day and age. Heres my advice to Representative Lincoln Diaz-Balart (R-Fla.). Leave Mike the fuck alone. Ive never seen another guy constantly fucked with legally as much as Mike Tyson. If it wasnt this is was Mitchell Rose, the conqueror of Butterbean crying that Tyson hit him. Theres the 50 something year old KMART employee who claimed Tyson assaulted her. ( Which was totally thrown out) Theres another woman somewhere crying assault and they searched Mikes house. You would think he is a mobster or something. IMO, hes the most persecuted man on the planet because people are jealous of his fame and the fact they cant do a damn thing to him physically, so why not screw with him. It make me sick. Mike Tyson is the most misunderstood guy in the world. Watch his old films and prefight bios, the guy was filled with love for everyone. He had one of the worst childhoods you can imagine and even now after all of the crap hes been through, he still is a good person. But most ignorant people dont look at that side, they just see the ear bitter, or the "rapist tag" thats on him. (for the record, i am a white male who keeps this tyson page up and i TOTALLY DONT believe Mike raped Desiree Washington. He was raped by the U.S. Courts. O.J. Simpson kills 2 people and has blood everywhere and he gets off. Mike Tyson has his word against her word. Hes found Guilty. Bullshit. At the time of his trial, a Kennedy was on trial for rape. He got off. Same situation. Same thing, his word, her word. Its bullshit. If Mike tyson hates everyone in this world now, I can not blame the guy. He has no reason to trust ANYONE.

Great article. I couldn't agree more.
I've read Mike Tyson interviews on subjects such as race relations, his troubled childhood, religion, etc..... I think he's a very intelligent and peaceful human being. He's been treated like an animal by society, he went to prison for a crime he didn't commit, and ironically he came out of tha hell whole a deeply spirited devout Muslim, and he's still boxing succesfully, and trying to live his life. Leave him the fuck alone!!!!!

His story is sad. Since he was a child he has had a really hard life. He has lost his mother at a young age, he lost his mentor who he loved more than anyone, he has been through divorces, been accused of rape and sent to jail for it (I don't think he did it and I'll explain in a minute), and was screwed over by Don King and left damn near broke by him. That's alot for anyone, you can't blame him for snapping.
The reason I doubt Tyson raped that woman was because lets face it, Tyson was the man at that time and everyone knows he was makin' tons of money. Women take advantage of that. Same thing happened to De La Hoya and Fernando Vargas. But anything could of happened since the chick willingly went up to his place, she was stupid for going up there with a grown man and he was stupid for letting her in there and giving her the opportunity for making false accusations. They just took the woman's word over his and thats wrong. Now he's getting accused of rape again, but I doubt Tyson would even rape a woman that is fatter and uglier than his wife. Get real people.
I can't blame him for acting like he does in public. He's not perfect and he's made mistakes and people just judge him for what they have heard and not from actually knowing the man in real life. Like Infinite said, he is a very peaceful man, a very honest man. I've seen interviews with him and he'll tell what's going on in his personal life straight up. He is trying to be a productive member of society but he's a constant target of bullshit.

Tyson needs help to deal with his life. It was fucked up. And the way people still hang around and watch it hoping he fcks up is complete bullshit. First off, rape is a crime of hate, violence and power. How the woman looks is nothing to do with it.
Tyson had a terrible childhood, no doubt.
But the truth is, no matter how much he, or others, try to paint him as a victim, he appears to have mental problems and little ability to behave in a civilised way.
I actually remember when he started out, before he had ANY titles, and he had found a way to channel his anger through boxing.
But when Cus D'amato died, and his marraige collapsed, and he changed trainers/managers/etc, he started to fall apart.
Now look at him.
Y'all talking about him being victimized - what did Holyfield do?? Tyson bit his fucking ear off....
And this shit about "eating Lennox's kid's"....what an idiot.

I lost my respect for him a long time ago, but when he bit off Holyfields ear, I just thought -
"man, if this is the level he is now at - God help him".

I dont think his childhood and how he grew up should make me feel sorry for him and say everything he does is alright (even if it is bad). It takes a strong person to overcome shit and be a positive person. But nonetheless it can be done , and it should be done if you have the guidance of God.
Alot of people live fucked up lives . I think Mike is sick , crazy , insane. He just aint right in the head. I really feel for him , cuz he aint never gonna change .
