My mother was on a matching payment program for a minute but they dropped her, and why? The rep on the phone said she wasn't middle class. What the fuck? I don't know.
My mother has been dropped from Food Stamps for prolly almost a year now saying that she makes too much money..rightttt. Single mother with a few children, get's payed twice a week, that's 900 dollars each check. So that's what, $1800 a month. Minus 900 for rent, now what 900 for the rest of the bills and food. Her cable bill is $5,000. That's how much she owes. She got allll the other bills to pay, what bout our stomachs? Aight, now we get dropped for Food Stamps. WE HAVEN'T HAD FOOD IN THE HOUSE SENSE MANNNNNN!
I ain't being racist. Cuz I'm not that. But this white lady she works wit, right, check this...another lady was gon help my mother get section 8, gave my moms all the information, tips, etc. etc., well the lady she works wit took it down too, you know she wrote down madd BULLSHIT and got the section 8 and my mom didn't. And this lady has a boyfriend and one child. A boyfriend, 1 child. How's that happen? She also get's FOOD STAMPS and they was living in her boyfriends mother's place, downstairs, WASN'T even payin' rent, but still got section 8 for them, for her mother. Okay wanna know what she just bought? A house in an All-Italian section in Wtby. Her mother-in-law still on section 8, and she still collectin' Welfare. Crazy huh.
And NOW my fuckin' father, my father, a dude who never payed a PENNY in child support his WHOLE life, a man who once lived in an apartment that was left to him and his girlfriend, PAID FOR, A PAID FOR APT, all they had to pay was condo fees, somethang like a 100 somethang a month, a man who never paid a BILL, EVER, EVERRR, ok, this nigga JUST GOT FOOD STAMPS, becuz yes the dumb-mother I have told him that he could prolly qualify for, he did, he got them, she thought that maybe he'll let her use them, nope, he's selling them. I mean, ok, yeah, he did buy her a turkey, but that's one meal man, and a half a pound of salami, and that shit is about gone now. :'( Crazy huh.

Yeah, and my grandmother used to work for City Welfare, and seen all kinds of walk of life. I don't know the latest stats n shit, but I know this: Whites are still the majority in America. By my guess, at the absolute minimum there's at least 200 million white people in this country. So if we're talkin 30% of whites and 30% of blacks or whatever, understand you're talkin about 60 million people verses maybe 6 million people.
Again, my numbers may be off, but you get the point. So yes, there are more white people collecting welfare than blacks or mexicans or whomever.
And I agree w/ QT, the system is BS and can be exploited by anyone who really wants to.
There's a clip on youtube of ODB getting welfare checks/food stamps while he had like the #1 album in the country or some shit. It was on Yo! MTV Raps. So that just goes to show you how good that system is.

i work for the social security administration and I actually just learned this one.
as far as SSI goes (Supplemental Security Income, Social Security's welfare disability and aged program) goes
white people if you go by raw numbers, count
Black people by percentage (by a lot)
however when it comes to fraud neither one of them are close as Indian (not native american) misuse the program the most

i don't know, couldn't tell you if the numbers posted are wrong or not, but i know for SSI , which is a federal program, the proportion of people on SSI are usually black.
numbers wise yeah more white people receive. but when you compare the populations, a larger percentage is black.
