What do you guys want for christmas? Put up what's on your wish list, and if I see the words "pagan holiday" whoever said it is a queer.
Anyways, I haven't given it too much thought yet, but I think what I want is a Danelectro Pro Convertible Electric Guitar. If I can't get that, I want a Cort Triggs Chamber. Here's pictures of 'em

there's one in a pawn shop on the other side of town exactly like this, I think my brother is gonna sneak over there and buy it for me for christmas tomorrow. Man, I hope, that would be so cool. You can play it acoustic, or electric, with a weird sound as an acoustic since it's so thin. These were classic babys from the 60's, and now they've reissued all of them. I've got a danelectro Innuendo, it's awesome.
If I don't get that, I want a Cort Triggs Chamber, it was designed by Triggs, this famous nashville musician. I think it's kinda gangsta, looks like a cheap Rickenbacher, like the beatles played... they're cheap though, so it's in my price range, where a Rick is like 600 bucks!

I want a cd player stereo for my car. There is lots more things I want, but that is really the only thing that I would expect anyone to actually get me. I would like some new clothes but my family can never pick out clothes that I like too much. Oh yeah and I want some new shoes. I would like some turntables but I ain't gonna ask for them cause they too expensive. Drums would be nice too, but then again too expensive.

i'm tryin to find me a cheap (under 400 quid) akai mpc 60 ii to play with either that or and ensoniq asr-10 sampling synth (a lot of the big uk underground hiphop people use these along with the obvious things like mpc's and EMU sp1200s )
(i'm putting up a old drum machine/synth on ebay this week which will fetch 200 quid)

Cool, Cool. I just do it software... I've got a decent keyboard, a few nice microphones, and that's about all I need to do beats, demos, etc. I use cakewalk, which is awesome for MIDI, and soundfonts in my soundblaster Live. I don't like using samples or anything, so Midi is perfect for me (Plus, I record guitar tracks and bass tracks live over it), and the soundfonts are unlimited, so I can make complete stuff that's all original (and copywritable, LOL).

yeah i played with fruity loops + cubase, its aiight. not keen on em tho.
i have a midi controller keyboard and a roland mc303 groovebox (that i'm selling soon before its worthless).
i'm really good with the technical side of things but i'm not overly musical. (yet mwhaha)
i'm ok ish with beats if i'm chopping up samples, but find it harder using a drum machine.
those things take time. i'm also a firm believer that if u can mix records properly dj style (which months to learn) some of the skills transfer to producing.
my homie is good musically especially with beats (maybe coz he been djing jungle and now nu skool breakz for 10 years) but he lacks skills/confidence with software so I have to learn things a bit to be able to teach him.
i'm hookin him up with reason + acid pro soon so i gotta learn em.
i might hold out and watch ebay for an upgraded mpc 60ii ... hmm

Yo AC, I'm sure you probably already know this, but they got some players out there under 200 bucks now that play mp3 cd's too. I got one a few months ago, and it's great man. Put in a disc with over a hundred songs on it, and fucking leave it in for a month. lol

Just my opinion, but those Les Paul's are SO FRIEKIN OVERRATED. The epiphones cost 400 bucks, and sound almost as good. You're paying 5 grand for a signature and a paint job. The most expensive guitar I would ever buy (Unless I was like, Lenny Kravitz and it was a fashion statement, LOL) would be maybe a Richenbacker, they're like 600. I can make my danelectro sound just as good as a Les Paul, and Eric Clapton + Jimmi Hendrix revolutionized MUSIC just with a cheap Fender.

About 5 years ago, I worked at Winn Dixie, and this incredibly hot chick named Jamie got a job there. She was a letter girl at my school (I had just graduated). She was like insane hot, 16, and I was 17. Well, I of course started talking to her all the time, etc. I'd do bitch moves like I was the customer service manager, right? Well, everything I did was designed to get me to date her, hahaha. My manager sent me one time on the clock to buy her a tape of smashing pumpkins "Bullet With Butterfly Wings", and I told her I'd go get it at the mall, if she let me take Jamie, so Jame and me left work and went to the mall for 4 hours on the clock in my car, stuff like that, LOL.
Anyways, she invited me over to her house one night, she was gonna have a big party. We started talkin, and her favorite movie was the breakfast club. She was kinda a pothead, or something, she was always all hyped up like on Crack or something, but in a good way, LOL I think it might have been natural, she dressed like a hippie, and all that crap. So anyways, part of my winter consisted of me going over to her house and watching the breakfast club over and over on tape. She watched it every day religiously... and I'd never seen it, so you KNOW I turned that into an easy in.
So, the first night, I get over there, and she's about half drunk, when I arrived, she had 4 girls there, and me. That's it, all night. So, anyways, she goes in her room, changing with the door open, all this crap.... they got drunk, and decided they wanted to go to K mart (which was open all night) at 4 in the morning, and buy the soundtrack to the movie Annie. So... one drunk drives us over, then Jamie gets lost in the K Mart with me, she's yelling, we get thrown out by a security guard because she's actin like a lush. It was snowing, we almost wrecked the car 5 times because the girl was drunk driving on Ice, and only 16. I coulda died... and the worst part, THE WORST DAMN PART.....
When we got back to her place, being the true gentleman that I am (lol), I went home... they were all drunk, went to sleep, and I didn't think it'd be appropriate to try and get laid with a girl that wasn't in a clear state of mind. LOL.

Same type of guitar style cept these are basically the acoustic & electric sound meshed as one sound. One of the coolest sounds I've ever heard.
For Christmas I don't want anything. I'd like one of those guitars but my mom can't afford it. I''ve saved up for a car so that is all I need.

Just my opinion, but those Les Paul's are SO FRIEKIN OVERRATED. The epiphones cost 400 bucks, and sound almost as good. You're paying 5 grand for a signature and a paint job. lol exactly i just want one to say i have a les paul.. bragging rights lol i mean it's just impressive
guitars are like cars,you can customise them with any amount of money and make them just as good as anything out there. i got a crummy litte Harmony accoustic and by messing with the bridge a lil bit and replacing the strings and various other tips i've picked up from this one guitar dude at this record store called rock it ive got it sounding pretty decent. i actually do have an epiphone electric guitar that i bought outta that one catelouge "musician's friend" it's a great sounding guitar as well. i'm not sure what exact fender clapton used but i do know that jimi's Stratocaster was far from cheap though . i don't really like fenders though becuase they de-tune alot easier than most big name guitars and you got to spend a lot of time tuning them the way you want them. From my experience i like Gibson brand guitars the most.
oh yeah to add my list i also want a Buck Owens guitar (the red white and blue guitar)

I think that's actually a bass in your picture at top, but I've got a cheap acoustic electric, too... mine is one of the ovation knock off's with the plastic back to make it resonate. Pretty dope, you're right though has a nice sound to it. It's like a tinny sounding acoustic. Most acoustics these days have built in pickups, so most are acoustic/electric anyways. You oughta get a cheaper acoustic/electric to learn on, then once you get decent, spend the money on the nice guitar. That nice guitar will sound like crap anyways while your'e just learning, so you might as well make a cheap guitar sound like crap, HAHAHA.

Yeah, you're right, the fender wasn't the cheapest, but it was about a fourth of what the les Paul cost. all i'm saying is, a dope guitarist can make anything sound good. Clapton played a strat just like jimi's. Peace~

The main thing I want is an XBOX. Also, I'm askin for Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, and 007 Nightfire for XBOX. These two games are WAAAY tight! Splinter Cell is the greatest stealth/covert game ever made! Nightfire is the best 007 game yet!(Yes, better than Goldeneye)
Also, I'd like the Polo Sport gift pack (cologne, deodorant, aftershave), money...and thats it...
I hope I get some of this stuff...I just spent $95 on a gold bracelet for my soon-to-be woman...

I gotta agree with you there...
But one thing that wrecked Goldeneye for me was all the codes. There were MAAD codes...shit got too boring eventually...
Also, Goldeneye was a pretty easy game for the most part. Some missions were harder than hell(Cradle, Egyptian, Aztec), but alot of the missions were fairly easy(to me anyway).
Nightfire is a HARD ass game! The first mission you start out with will take you at least 5 tries to get it on the easiest difficulty. There arn't many codes for it(that I know of), and the difficulty is hard.
Goldeneye was tight as hell(I still play it), but I think it's obsolete compared to Nightfire...

Number one christmas is not Pagan but the holiday Yule is which is celebrated on the 21 of dec or the when ever the first day of winter arrives. Yule is the Celebration of life moving on .. kinda like the begaing and end.... Different Pagans have different belief on Yule since the spread of christianity... Christain did adopted some of the traditions that pagans celebrate on Yule.... Such of the Christmas tree.. which at one time was called a Yule Tree.. it was to be decorated just like a christmas tree and then they would sing around it.. in thanks to the God/Goddess for the year.. which wiccians and pagan take from their own wheel of year. if you notice there are alot of christmas carols that mention Yule in them... it is not christmas and some people would confuse them because the tradication are the same.... pagans/wiccians for christ extend there holiday and also celebrate christmas...
when you think about it.. the Grench who stoled christmas is a paganistic story... they never actually cut down the main tree and they never mention the birth of christ......
oh yeah..there are some extreme christains who dont celebrate christmas trees and gift giving because of the fact that the idea was adopted by pagans...

Don Doggy, I have 4 guitars. The first one is just a cheap copy of a hummingbird acoustic, you know the one with the red sunburst finish, and the hummingbird or whatever it is on the pic guard. It's really old, I bought it at a flea market for 30 bucks, lol.
I've also got an el cheapo Yamaha acoustic electric I bought from a friend as my first acoustic about 5 years ago. It's pretty crappy too, I broke the pickup at a gig with my friends about 4 years ago. One of my friends went to plug it in, and pushed too hard on the cord, and drove the pickup socket straight into the side of the guitar. It still plays fine, though, but it's just a cheap beater.
About 2 years ago, I bought another el cheapo acoustic, but it's actually a pretty nice guitar. It's this model, except it has a red/black sunburst finish instead of green. They have plastic backs like an ovation, too, for amplication, and they're acoustic electrics.

I used to have a cheap electric, but I sold it last year after I bought my baby, LOL A Danelectro Innuendo. Danelectro was a cheap guitar made in the 60's, and they just started reissuing them about 4 years ago. The Innuendo is kind of a fender rip off, with built in effects like reverb, distortion, delay, and tremello. Pretty guitars, and they sound great.

Well, my brother, for christmas, I'm 95% sure bought me this guitar below... it's a danelectro Convertible, I saw it at a pawn shop and wanted it really bad, I think he went back and bought it for me after we left for christmas. I guess I'll find out in 2 weeks.

i bought this becuase i really like kirk hammet, i wasn't expecting it to be "the greatest guitar ever" but i got to say i really love it plus i bouht it on sale for 300 when it's worth 1,000...thank you robert ;)

ok i had an ibanez bass but then i traded it and made up the difference from that one to get this..it's cool, its mostly all look cuz it sounds the same as my old one with the exception of the twang that i use to get from my ibanez
