It's like the football players wanting to sign with Real Madrid. The idea/possibility of being part of something that was great once is just too tempting.

It seems like this has gone on forever now.  It's a shame they can't speak in more detail about it, but maybe they can't, if there's pending litigation.  I thought I remembered them saying that their deal with E1 (Koch) was a 1-album deal.  If that's true, you wouldn't think E1 would have much of a case.  I think Joe Budden has said too that Amalgam was also trying to prevent the Shady Records deal, so that might be the other party that Joell Ortiz was talking about.  Not sure what legal claim they would have to Slaughterhouse.  I know they released Budden's "Escape Route" digital album, but why that would entitle them to having any rights over Slaughterhouse, I don't know.  You'd think if they really wanted Slaughterhouse over at Shady, Em could just sick some lawyers on these bozos and get them to go away. lol

Yeah, I'm buying their shit anyway. At least when it comes out and I don't know if it was more likely when they'd sign with Shady.

Slaughterhouse to Shady would be dope.

but i heard they already hit the studio together & they have a song with Slim; as long as we get the songs, i don't care whose signed where.

but i do know that Joe Budden's favorite rapper is Eminem, so you already know he's flippin' out. :D

as of right now this is just Twitter gossip but if true that's fucked

Shady wouldn't guarantee them sales but it would definitely expose them to a bigger audience, while they still have a pretty solid fanbase now

Fuck Interscope, E1, and Digital Amalgam.  50 & Em should start a new label and relaunch everyone's careers.

50's been outspoken about label issues.  His contract is up and no one is sure what he's up to next.

Em's been looking like a label peace maker.  He's been working with top names.  Or maybe we're seeing the actual stable eminem.

Either way it's obvious they don't hold the same power they once did.

Interscope & Dr.Dre fucked up by letting Dre's ego get in the way of releasing music.  They've had plenty of artist that could have went on to carry the legacy but wanted to preserve some bizarre sense of security.

That sucks. If they signed with Shady I could actually see them getting their album released based off the energy Eminem would put into the project alone.
