im really actually confused....it's just something alot different, game usually doens't put the songs for the girls for his 1st single it may work it may not.. maybe he figures the new mixtape and it must be me will keep his real fans happy so he could drop some shit for the ladies while he's buzzin. LOL first time i heard this i thought i was listening to a JT album track, like something from a JT debut album, the sounds really dated imo. And regardless of what people say of neptunes and pharell, dude is easily one of the most talented producers in the world but this sounds like something he put together in 30 mins.

The beat sounds like a demo beat. It sounds like a demo Pharrell made on his phone, that needs to be taken into the studio and completely fleshed out. In times like this when game is kinda lost musically, Dr Dre needs to step up and help him out because if it fails it will bad also for Aftermath. it's weird the song isn't as horrible as i once thought just something way different. Could have made alot better of a track with JT just ended up coming out with this one. I don't know DOC was classic, DA was a west coast classic and LAX ended up being a solid album but just wasn't ordered correctly and had higher expectations. Seeing Sounds is a great CD for those who hate on Pharrell. I didn't care much for 'Hot N Fun' though, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed the new album isn't on a pop vibe like that.

Track is coo after a few listens, only problem is that it sounds like a Timerlake/Pharrell tracks and you could replace Game with any other rapper without it affecting the overall vibe of the song... I think Game just came weak/lazy on this

This is different. Beat is definitely too out there and sounds unfinished. Game is cool, obviously dumbed it down lyrically but did what he suppose to on a crossover joint: on beat flow, catchy all around vibe... The thing is, it sounds to left filed for him, T.I. was smart and brought JT to his world, Game just gave in so to speak. Doesn't sound organic at all.
Maybe it's a grower, who knows.

Hmm, I hadn't listened to the song at all yet when I read this topic and I was expecting something really horrible.
I just put the song on for the first time and... I think it actually sounds alright? The beat sounds a bit "love-less" (if that makes sense) and the "mario jumping" sound is a lil weird in the back ground but other than that sounds like a pretty cool summertime song?
I don't know what everybody was expecting when they heard Game/JT/Pharrell collabo?

Ok so after multiple listens, I do not HATE the track anymore. I can see this being popular with the radio and the ladies... But i was expecting something a little harder from a Pharrell Game Duo... something more in the direction of the work Pharrell did with Clipse.

I could have SWORN this was Justin Timberlake FEATURING Game from the way they did this! The amount of time he was given on the track, the overall feel (too much of a dance record), the beat, etc.
If that was JT ft. Game, then it'd be acceptable, but what the fuck Game? At LEAST have more fuckin bars on your own track! Put the shitty beat aside, put the dance/lack of rap feel aside, it is a decent song. Nothing more, nothing less. It should blow up on the radio if pushed by Interscope. I can imagine this being a top ten hit.
And sadly, I saw someone else mention this, but from the two leaks, this is turning out to be a Jimmy Iovine album if anything. Dre definately can't be an exec. on this one. And too bad, because now we have "It Must Be Me" and "Ain't No Doubt About It"...both songs that would have never made The Documentary (once again, I hate to make that comparision, but it was his best album by far and we always compare his new albums to this). Shit, these even would have looked bad on LAX!
In the end, as singles in this day and age, Game/Interscope were clearly just trying to fit in. I may catch shit for saying that, but it's truth. If they wanted to make some real good music (which supposedly they have, in like every peice of news you hear) they could have, and featured those as singles, but they go the pop route.
Fuck it, I am still looking forward to this, but am not expecting anything amazing anymore. If the rest of the album (outside of the singles) are good, then i'll be be happy, but I see another LAX coming (which really wasn't bad, but not good for a Game cd).

I used to be a HUGE Game fan but these days not so much...the track is alright but it definitely sounds like a JT track featuring Game. I will be surprised if this doesn't blow up on radio but this is WAY to pop to be a Game single

Yeah same here. I was expecting like that lupe song and that nicole scherzinger song i miss u. Those are two of the best neptune instrumentals I've heard in a long time. This beat it sounds like they took a step back.

This is the only new Game song I like... now let the hate begins but the beat is nice (typical NERD & Timberlake), instead Game has nothing to do with it.
