unlike some kids who boast of making a 'crank dat' beat in 30 minutes, Alchemist's productions define what we know as raw hardcore hiphop music. He's a complete producer, more like in the lines of Havoc from Mobb deep.
He is so special and great because he makes good rap beats which sound ghetto and street.If you like Pete rock or Rza's beats, you will appreciate alchemist...The 'carry on tradition' kind of producer

ALC uses the mpc so basic sometimes and just does it in a fancy way
the fact he keeps it simple makes the beats better

yea you're kind right... although to be honest I've never been hyped about RZA like others have
but listening back on Alchemist career he is extremely hit or miss, to me anyway
but when he does a good tracks, it's a real standout to me, I play stuff all the time produced by Alchemist
but then I come across other cuts and they're not up to par with his best work, as in way below the par he should be at
but regardless fuck the critic shit, he's definitely the shit, made some great material
