I"m not talking about the best duo in terms of albums, lyrics, beats, etc. I'm talking about which duo best complements each other, a natural collaboration instead of a forced one.
I decided to make the question like this since I think it's a tough one to answer

and say why too...

Outkast by a long shot. They have 3 albums that are considered classics by most people that know hip hop, 3 more that are above average, they always get top notch production mainly because Andre is involved most of the time, and they have commercial appeal all at the same time.

When styles & jada are flowing and they exchange bar to bar it's pretty impressive
-
havent we already had this same poll?
-
Q-Tip and Phife most definitely. They have the perfect chemistry and it really comes across on those songs where they trade verses.
Outkast is basically Andre 3k feat. Big Boi

Snoop & Dre. 8)

yeah
fuck it, I'm with this though

surprised no Dogg Pound or Mobb Deep in those options
-
oh there's already a post like this? my bad I'm relatively new to these boards. And I was trying to add DPG and Mobb Deep but it only allows 5. And I pick Tip and Phife, check out Check the Rhime or Oh My God to see why. Great chemistry between them on those tracks especially.

Electric Relaxation, Steve Biko, Buggin Out, Award Tour, Can I Kick It etc. A Tribe Called Quest should take this topic. All the other duos work great together but they are equally great as solo artists. I rarely listen to a Method Man track and think "damn Redman should have been on this." But I think Tip and Phife's best work has been with each other.
