nelly wins artist of the year and male artist of the year.
I'd rather ludacris win an award then Nelly.

IT HELLA SUCKED. Nelly? I couldn't believe it. I was praying to god that any of the other three would win it besides him. Why Nelly? OUT OF EVERYBODY THERE that woulda been the last guy I gave it to. I would have gave JamMasterJay the award before I gave it to Nelly. Half the performances sucked, too. The Michael Jackson/Chris Tucker thing was pretty funny, you could hear Mike laughing his ass off in the background when Chris imitated him.

What do you expect? It's based on sales and airplay. Nellyville was one of the highest selling albums and his singles were huge.

That what I would assume but I think Nelly's singles were on top of the hot 100 for a while and "Without Me" & "Cleanin' Out My Closet" didn't reach #1. Plus I didn't see all of the awards but I didn't see Em there, maybe they didn't wanna give it to someone that didn't show up.

Hate on or not, but the perfomance in dedication of Run-DmC was off the fucken hook...
Nelly, Ja Rule, Queen Latifah, Naughty by Nature, Busta Rhymes, & Aerosmith..
The song brought a tear to my eye..I was a huge Run-Dmc fan groing up as a kid....Dope.

Yeah, actually that part was pretty cool, but I couldn't even stand to look at the screen when nelly was on there. Ja did alright, I can't hate on him nonstop like mostpeople on here. Aerosmith TRASHED IT, man, that guy has a cool voice... sing along yall
