Title: You know they developed a 2pac curriculum for teachers now?
Post by: TraceOneInfinite Flat Earther 96' on July 19, 2010, 06:35:29 PM
It's pretty interesting, Micheal Eric Dyson and Afeni put it together.  It's over at Afeni's 2pac Foundation website, it looks like it could be pretty groundbreaking stuff, I'm just now reading it for the first time.  It's like history, music, English, arts, taught from a hip-hop/2pac perspective.  If you take the time to check it out, let me know what you think and we can discuss in this thread.

Like for example it says...

The objective states what the student will be able to do and why it is important.
The instructional objective is the educational estimation of the learner after instruction. The objective states what the student will be able to do and why it is important.
The instructional objective is the educational estimation of the learner after instruction.

Kind of interesting how the student determines his instructional objective after the instruction.

Ahhh yes, I see, so the way you judge the quality of a given curriculum is upon whether or not the politicians decide to incorporate it into the public/government ran school system.  So basically the likes of John McCain, Barack Obama, and George Bush fuckin own your ass.  Because if it's not considered worthy by the politicians, then it must be worthless right?

Do you have your own fuckin brain or are you just a mindless drone?

I think that this could be ground breaking. Seeing the world through a creative mind's eye is very controversial, but also very eye opening to youth. If Michael Eric Dyson is part of it, I can honestly say I'd check it out. He may be an attention whore at times, but his also a brilliant mind and at least deserves a listen.

curriculum generally means high school or younger. College professors generally don't follow a curriculum, they generally make up their own. It's weird.

Can we get a list of schools teaching this curriculum so I can make sure I avoid having my children attend them one day.

I highly doubt any school would use it. More than likely some after school program, or some summer program would use it as enrichment.

Not Really, Because College Classes are developed based of a Specific Trade (Computers, Medicine, Etc.) Because the Area in which the Technology and knowledge is rapidly changing. They got to develop there classes around the Current industry, a person is entering at the time. Schools on the other hand teach general education which rarely changes. Math, Reading, History, Basic Biology and Sociology. That rarely changes. Sadly school books aren't kept up to date in the poorer classes. Also because Texas has the Major of the Textbook industrys Nuts in a Vice they can control what Kids in other states learn. As such they want to Cut out the Civil Rights and Thomas Jefferson (and I think Lincoln also).
