Nope.. the master does not have this problem. This copy had the bass adjusted pretty high, adding volume just distorts it as you have already proved..

The 2Pac leaks result, and always have resulted in a heroin-like addicition from leechers (and fence sitters) who always want more and more regardless of what's been leaked, and forget about efforts - both time and financial that is put in to obtain them.... It's to no surprise that groups and 'secret' forums are required to stop it. Granted they will not work if the general public knows what's in them, but in most instances they usually do if done right.
The person who begs for a lower-end quality rip of one track, will be the exact same person who b*tches and moans about that track not appearing in CDQ in an upcoming release, or heavily remixed from the original once retailed. . Watch this space.....

First off PROPS. Fuck Friends is fucked up unfortunately. It sounds like some amateur tried mastering it themselves with no knowledge of attach and release times and the result is this terrible pulsing. Street life is very fixable with some limiting I'm working on that now. I really hope we can get an OG of good die young. That song is beautiful and hopefully the outlawz aren't on it or its an older version with their original verses.

I think you're missing the point. I hate Pac's Life as much as the next man. I along with a few others on here value the work, and respect the rightfully paid proportion of a song to go to it's rightful owner(s). In this case, this doesn't stop and start with 2Pac. Writers, Producers, Engineers, Board Operators, and so on - a lot are not, and have not been paid for previous work (some managed to through Afeni, but not all). I'm not in favour of people 'unrelated' profiting off of his unreleased work, but I appreciate the sometimes 'unseen' view of a buyer group, or private community allowing people to hear unreleased material at a divided cost from the full price, as long as it isn't done in a pyramid scheme method

I'm sure you can export in the same quality as the original file, right? instead of down-sampling to MP3 can i get the "Re-Mastered" WAV(s) or did you already delete the session for that particular track?

Re encoding the track always means some lost of quality and crispness. You can't escape that. I prefere listening to the original wav through iTunes - I can always tweak the EQ settings within the program rather than recompress the files.
And We're talking about Straight Ballin OG being leaked!!! How can you not want to hear that?!! :D

WAV or AIFF (true lossless FLAC) is the BEST possible formats for digital music, especially when it comes to rarities like this.
if you DL the mp3's & try burning those to CD you'll get that shitty compressed sound you seem to like so much.
