i was just wondering what kind education some of the people in here have...seriously...some people in here seem like they're still in grade school and others seem really informed and intelligent...i thought it would be interesting to see how smart everyone reall is....me i just finished college...bs electrical engineering...penn st.

I am a Junior in high school at tha moment.....

im in college now, doing 1st year engineering, but im splitting the 1st year courses into 2 so ill be taking 2 years at college, thats finishing 14 courses, hopefully after that if my gpa is good, then ill transfer to a university (UBC) and complete the rest of the 3-4 years over there....hopefully by then imma be a British Columbia certified Engineer. Ill be choosing my field of engineering in the second year, so right now its basic for all...but the shit is hard

its basically when u dont graduate high school and dont feel like continuing ur education at school...u take a test and if u pass u get a diploma sayin u completed ur General Education...its not from a high school but at least it says u completed ur education...if im wrong please correct me...

It aint much... It's equivalant to a High School Diploma.. when you go for a Job interview they ask you if you have a High School Diploma or a G.E.D cuz they're basically tha same shit..
I was planning on going to straight to college.. I dont know if this is true but I heard that Cali was tha only state in tha U.S that allows you to go to college without even graduating High School.... I'm posititve they let you do that out here.. I just aint sure if it's only in California that they do that.

I think it stands for (not sure though) General EQUIVALENCY diploma. That's what I always understood it to mean, at least, because it's equivalent to a high school diploma, but it's general studies.
I know here in N.C. you can go to college with a g.e.d.
Another loophole around the diploma, or sat score thing, is to go to a 2 year college and get an associates degree, and then transfer classes to a major university; I never even took the s.a.t. or showed them my high school transcript and have two degrees to show for it. Peace~

Got thru high school.
I did a 1 year college i.t course which I passed with flying colours.
I am now on a 2 year I.T course and I have a year and a half of it left.

high school graduate, im the first person on my dads side to graduate high school since my grandfather, every1 else dropped out an got a GED. every1 thinks tho imma go to college i have no urge to go 2 college at all tho
