well yesterday, i installed windows xp on my computer and it was all gravy and shit... its tight and easy to use.. but then, when i connected to the net and i wanted to send something to some1, i couldnt!!!! he said the conection is blocked and shit!! wtf? i wanted to send something to some1 else and it was the same problem!!! and with my ftp too?! guys couldnt enter!! wtf? is this firewall or something?? if any1 can help me, it would be REAL appreciated!! thanx

oh and one other thing too. how can i change the background for a folder and the color of the writing of the folder names?? in win98,me and 2000 it was easy but now when i go in properties, i only can change the pic of the folder and shit..

help??!!

the inbuilded firewall is acticvated.... go to  "network settings" or similar and take off that firewall
