Em/Shady Records alone couldn't possibly have blown up anyone, just ask Obie Trice, it was Aftermath/Interscope that pushed him through the roof and made him the superstar he is/was. According to 50, Dre "didn't work with him that much" on GRODT, but you don't have to be directly working with someone to be involved with the project and blow them up. And dont forget In Da Club, the song that DID blow him up, without that one, he would have had his 5 minutes of fame and thats it.

My point, which can't be denied is this,
Eminem is the one who co-signed 50 Cent. Dr. Dre didn't want to sign 50, Eminem wanted to. Hence, Eminem is the one who brought 50 to the next level. I'm not denying In Da Club but hell D12 had that beat and they didn't know what to do with it. 50 Cent did. So, that's called a working relationship between Dr. Dre & 50. It's not like Dre wrote the track and said recite this. It's a 2 way street. In Da Club was successful because of Dr.Dre AND 50 Cent. Not just because of Dr. Dre.
Not to mention there hasn't been another artist in the past decade to have the same kind of self-built wave of success as 50 cent. The closest was Drake and even then the labels got smart and did their best to appear he wasn't receiving funds.

In Da Club was a huge hit for 50 Cent but he already had a monster buzz before that song even came out. There was already a bidding war for G-Unit Records before the album even dropped. Dre and Eminem helped a lot in creating that anticipation but you couldn't just do that with any artist off the street. If it were just a producer and the camp, they could just co-sign people every six months and keep raking in the sales. 50 Cent had the winning campaign all around. He had Dr. Dre co-signing him with a hot single. He had a major jump-off with "Wanksta" coming off the huge hit movie that Eminem had with "8-Mile". He had an exciting and controversial backstory with him getting shot nine times, surviving, starting his own ground-up movement with the mixtapes, and then getting discovered by the biggest label at the time. Then you had him feuding with Ja Rule and playing a role in the whole situation with The Source going at Eminem. He was also real outspoken with his interviews.
50 Cent signing with Shady/Aftermath was like Pac signing to Death Row after being bailed out. "STOP EVERYTHING. Give this guy what he needs because his whole story is fucking money." With either one, I think they would have been succesful with wherever they went but being on the biggest label elevated them in a way that they couldn't have acheived on their own.

he WAS one of the most successful, until his vitamin water stocks went to shit. This clearly shows his attitude towards the rap game.. He went in hard, got hot quick and then suddenly he thinks it will all be easy from there. That's why his albums suck and he is not one of the richest rappers anymore.

When someones whole drive as a rapper is to get rich and then they achieve that in a way they probably didn't even imagine what did you think would happen? He lost his hunger as an artist. If you couldn't see that coming then that's on you. Just listen to his music, he's just going through the motions, musics more or less the same but it's missing that x factor from before. He just isn't capable of producing that hunger he had because he's not hungry anymore. 50 will never be what he was.
