It may have been over 5 years since he first introduced himself to me by dropping City Life with Toussaint to the Dubcnn inbox but Bad Lucc aka Watts Riot remains the artist who made the most hard hitting first impression. The mix of his humble, respectful approach right to the quality of his music right off the bat told us only one thing - he was a name to be watched!
Time only proved that with the formation and blowing up of Western Union aka Dubb Union alongside Damani and then Soopafly and linking with Snoop Dogg.
Bad Lucc has consistently released music both on the solo tip and as the group with mixtapes [House Shoe Musik Vol. 1] and tracks including Cali Grown, All Night and Westurn Union across the years 2006-2007.
Since then Bad Lucc has been no less busy, mainly writing for other artists including Snoop Dogg, while also maintaining his solo grind with tracks and appearances on records including She's A Hoodrat with Terrace Martin, Target Practice alongside Black Hippy, I'm Iller, Bad Hussle Truth with Nipsey Hussle & Young Dre The Truth, On My Sh*t and most recently he's appeared on DJ Nik Bean's Streetz of L.A. Volume 12 mixtape as well as alongside Problem on the track Potion with E-40 and Prob's My L.A. Leaker Tape.
Today we are back cause Bad Lucc has dropped off a new heater getting us ready for his long awaited debut solo album "Meet the Writer." The track, entitled "Us Happened" features long term collaborater B.J. The Chicago Kid and is produced by another Dubcnn favourite THX - check it below!

I'll check it later. Mr Lucc needs to show he got an identity and lyrics to carry himself on a full solo album. He got mad ability though! Hope he comes with something different.. :)
