yes, black people and all people for that matter have to be very discriminatory about what we put in our body's. There are three pathways that must be protected...
1. Eyes: What we see with our eyes affects the heart and stimulates desire. The media is often designed to exploit the basic desires and fears of men. 3. Ears: A man must rely heavily on Qu'ranic reading so that it can become the spring of his chest and make his steps light as he travels from place to place. With the sound of the Qu'ran wringing in ones ears one then becomes protected from sounds that would distract man from his true nature. Islam is in harmony with man's true nature as a baby being born is a Muslim in submission to Allah, the sun and moon are in submission to Allah, and it is only through distraction and negative stimuli that one can forget this basic truth.
