shit why not t.i. wrote for him for free and the songs didn't get released officially. this makes great sense tip's a marquee artist on his 8th album and is a multi platinum seller.

I'd completely understand giving him a beat for an album, but using it for a mixtape is kind of just saying "It's produced by Dre but his shit ain't album worthy no more" he's giving his already rare product even less worth. The same thing happened when Game chucked the Dre produced tracks on mixtapes, it makes the consumer think the album material must have been better and ultimately leads to devaluing the brand in my opinion.
Either way though Tip is a beat when he's on his game so I'm looking forward to anything these two do together
