j steez, seriously loveing all your productions. extremely consistant and funky. i can definitely hear quik's influence in your work. thanks for sharing what equipment you use. it definitely is much appreciated, as i am always curious as an armchair producer myself. do you create all of your own sounds/patches? or do you use some of the stock presets? and how much does outboard gear play a role in your overall sound. glad you're a part of this forum. keep the p in the funk my dude!!!

My inspiration comes from what youve heard growing up or what ur parents heard growing up..Dj quik is my era... when u start talkin Bar-Kays, Earth, Wind and Fire, Ohio Players, The Isley Brothers , james brown.cameo .all funk bands..its just feel good music..if u like it Fresh. U think quik created all these basslines, and riffs?? lol . Why dont u check out Bootsy Collins, melvin whay, shit lmao how about Eddie Van Halen on Michael jacksons "BEAT IT". I DO FEEL GOOD MUSIC.
