Mods ran the place into the ground. Now nobody posts. And now mods are nowhere to be found. It's the same handful of people, it's not even entertaining to troll.it's a sad fucking day when a euro fag like mike madsen is being cosigned by anyone.

another good point...when the biggest artist moving units in the west is tyga, you known this forum is in trouble. back when this board started, you had heavily anticipated west coast albums droppin left and right. nowadays, the most exciting album droppin out west is Klientel's new mixtape. when/if "detox" drops, this place will triple in activity, and the forum will see traffic rivaling the traffic of the glory days. "violence of tha lambz" dropping will be the prelude to that. 8)

If the current crop of guys running things either don't give a shit or don't wanna evolve with the times, then they should hand over the reigns to more qualified people. Or at least introduce some new staff members.
I remember they were reaching out for some affiliates in the LA area who went to shows or whatnot. I never heard anything come out of it though. Then again, I ain't checked dubcnn in years.

I'm not trying to toot my own horn here but IF ANYBODY should be focusing on DubCNN it should be me. I think (know) it's safe to say that nobody has more knowledge of Hip Hop (and West Coast Hip Hop late 80's - Current) than myself and anybody who disagrees with that is just using slander. In my humble opinion I'd be great at overseeing the Content of the site and the Audio and I know how to attract a broader audience.
I'm sure Nik would do some great things as far as a "new beginning" of the site is concerned but he'd most likely put his team and his taste in music on more than anybody else. I love and respect that type of loyalty but I don't think I could waste my time hearing about L.A.'s Most Blunted and Klientel every other day. I'm not saying that I would whore it out but I would make sure that it would reach heights that it hasn't seen before.

Then I got http://westwired.com which will be like a West Magazine. It will cover music from California, Nevada, Washington, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Alaska, Hawaii, Colorado, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming and maybe the mid west.
