Slaughterhouse "welcome to: Our House" Release + Cover - By : Rud - June 27, 2012

A week ago we reminded you that the release of the long awaited Slaugherhouse debut album - "welcome to: Our House" - on Eminem's Shady Records was said to be quickly approaching! In that same update the lyrical quartet - Crooked I, Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz and Royce Da 5'9 dropped the video to My Life featuring Cee-Lo Green.
Today we've just received the official album cover - shown - along with word that "welcome to: Our House" will be released on August 28th 2012 and will be executive produced by Eminem.
The next offering from the LP will be the Mr. Porter produced "Throw It Away" featuring Swizz Beatz that will debut nationwide this weekend and will be available Monday, July 2nd exclusively at iTunes.

Lol. I'm actually suprised "My Life" doesn't seem to be picking up steam.
For what it's worth, they are nearing two million views on Youtube.
At the end of the day the style just doesn't have serious mainstream appeal. I feel they were almost better off just staying in their own lane & trying to win fans opposed to crossing over.

Hammer dance did pretty good, better than my life, it was MTV sucker free countdown, it has like a million views, and I think it was on iTunes top 10 maybe 50 downloads. So ain't bad for street single, that's all it was..... My life was suppose to be there 1st single and didn't go to great, I figured it would have done better, Mr Porter beats with Slaighterhouse = FIRE! Swizz I either hate on hooks or can do his thing ounce in awhile. If they want a huge mainstream single put eminem on the hook, that simple. Well see how the album
Turns out I still have high hopes, this new single better be banging tho.... Album covet simple but effective, I like it. They should of had Slaughterhouse written across the cover bigger tho, abd thrown some shady graffiti or even slim in overalls with Jason mask n chainsaw outside the outside, somthing to let Ppl know this is a shady album, for more sales atleast

And if you remember eminems first shady roster, he was on Obie trice single, he was all over d12 tho it was his grOup. 50 got slot of help from em too, even the re up helped introduce cashis and. Help his crew, I just hope he's behind slaughterhouse 100%... Gets them the best producers, features, promotion, all that . D12 is over time for em to fOcus on Slaughter... Unless he wants them to do it on there own with him just backing. Well have to wait to find out, Slaughterhouse is getting bigger snd bigger tho, with there Europe tour and blOgs, eminems backing, songs on MTV countdown, there upcoming source cover, they have all ingredients to blow up on mainstream level....... I saw Dj quik name on wall and even crook along with cob and LBC also nickel but no one elses

And who on that list does this forum have discussions about to begin with? I only see one, Wide Awake, and I remember people criticizing the Sam Sneed cover (which really had nothing wrong with it).

Now after being asked again he said he says he doesn't even know the tracklisting for the album, what the label is going to put on it so he said he's retracting his statement. So basically the label is going to fuck this album up.
Slaughterhouse is trying to put a mixtape out before the album, probably all the great songs that Joe thought was going to be on the album, making it so great. But now I hear Interscope is trying to put a stop on that mixtape from coming out.
So basically...fuck major labels lol. They should of just stayed on Koch.
