Post by: Hatesrats™ on February 14, 2003, 04:52:47 PM

SInce everyone is in 50 mode right now!!
I got a Question?

I know madd peep's have had that 50 Cent "Power of the dollar" lp track's for a while now. and now that his offical "Debut" cd has dropped what do yall' think bout his progress since.

Which do you prefer?
I got to go wit' The initial......"Power of the dollar" all compiled up is a pretty tight lp.

Or do you prefer the mix tapes....drop some knowledge.

its funny you say that cause nobody even heard of this guy until he signed with em and dre
I remember hearing his song "How to Rob" on the radio like 3 years ago, it was on the deep blue sea soundtrack I believe, I was like WTF 50 Cent ????

I picked up his album "Guess Whos Back" today and it is real dope but so far GRODT is the dopest cause of the beats

I say GRODT.
I've always wanted for 50 to get some proper beats, as I think Trackmasters is hit or miss, and most of the unknown cats he uses, is pretty amateurish...
With the exception of Sha Money and Red Spyda aka Rush.

Power of the dollar: 6-8 dope tracks, but too much fillers and average beats.
50 is unpolished to say the least, he's just a talent still.

Guess who's back: 7-9 dope tracks, sounds like the 2nd half is leftovers and reruns. Too many average beats, and 50 sounds tame at times.

Get rich or die trying: 11-14 dope tracks, even if 2 of them are old classics, this is still what represents 50 best. Only 3-4 wack/average tracks.
By far 50's most consistant & original album to date.
The lyrics doesn't stand back for his previous albums, but it's not as controversial as the "old 50", and that's why many people is fooled to think that he has stepped down lyrically.
