I don't have a problem with someone not supporting the war, but most of the people at the protests cannot be taken seriously. Most are extremists that come from blatantly anti-American groups like comunists, socialists, anarchists, black panthers, Islamic fundamentalists, etc. They are lunatics.

My favorite part was the empty stares that the interviewer recieved when he asked a question such as "How much time should inspectors be given?"

These people REALLY just made a great case NOT to listen to protests.

C Walker:  How are socialists blatantly anti-American?

And aren't Americans blatantly anti-Communists and not the other way round as you suggest?

haha, what was surprising at this march, and most of the politicians admitted it, was that the majority of people were ordinary first time marchers, which included myself. Sure there were a handfull of smally dreadlock types but the majority were average people.

As for the slogans etc, most of them weren't serious but there were some funny ones. There were mainly opinionated people there, only a tiny minority who were just there to have a laugh. I think people are much more educated about this war than previous ones.

There are perfectly reasonable arguments against, as well as for the war. But an awful lot of people, both for and against the war, are complete idiots.

Lenin's useful fools, indeed.
