right..

my sound wont work everytime i try to play a song it says mmsystem004 is in use wait for it to finish then try again or some shit..now i checked my hardware profiles and it says my sound card isnt installed..

but then it has an unknown audio device at the bottomis my sound card but when i got install a driver for it its not there on my pc so it wont install..my sound card is an SiS and its pissin me off cos i cant listen to music or make tapes..

Please if you hav any ideas or ways to help it wud be much obbliged..

try to delete the drivers of the unknown device and restart compter.... it should works..

or..

reinstall windows .. same path, it will take 2 hours, but then every driver will come back to the correct place...

mine does that,its because im listenin to a mp3,and some other sounds try to play (my internet answering machine for example) but  i dunno if thats y yurs is doin it

how did this happen? did u mess around?

Anywayz, try deleting the shit from device drivers n reboot(like i-bo said)

Try reinstalling the drivers from the cd of the soundcard(if u got one)

Or there might be sumthin wrong with your mp3 player, reinstall that

OR just fuckin upgrade to WinXP pro, the shits sweet, it automaticaly gets da drivers for da hardware etc
