Title: Austin/Rock on Raw
Post by: SugeFight on November 13, 2001, 06:55:48 AM
Did any of yall catch the last 20 minutes of Raw on Monday?  It was hilarious--Austin/Rock did a 20 minute sketch basically and they sang songs like "Margaritaville" and the crowd was chanting "WHAT" after every sentence Austin said.  Real funny stuff.

Mick Foley's speech was the best thing on RAW.

Well for what its worth the Austin/Rock skit was one of the highest rating segments on WWF TV in a LONG time.  And I, for one, thought it was classic material--as did the crowd obviously.

The Rock/Austin promo was the best promo the WWF has done in ages.

Thats the kind of shit I miss. If your gonna do a long promo at least make it entertaining.

I cant say enough good things about the Austin/Rock skit--youre right-it was just plain FUN.  And I think theres a reason why they put it at the end of the show and put some much time into it.  The WWF wants to show the fans that they want to improve their product and make it fun again for them.  That also is why they had the Mick Foley worked shoot interview.

Anyways-As far as Survivor Series goes , don't expect a clean "WWF wins, WCW is over" storyline that they are advertising.  If WWF wins, I'd expect the WCW to come back NWO style (maybe without the name) with some extra members like Hall, Nash, Steiner, Flair, Bischoff, and whoever else.  However, I think the best approach may be to have WCW/Alliance win and really shake things up in the professional wrestling scene.

At survior series they always have a screw job, especially after tha bret vs. shawn match,  its always funny how tha every year tha wwf trys to act like tha new screw job is more controversal each year,  how tha fuck could that ever show up survivor series 97,  damn.

P.S.  BRET TAPPED OUT

The WWF wont have to change its name.  The only thing in jeopardy was the www.wwf.com website's domain.

Ill be honest--aside from the mainevent the card is weak.  The main event should be awesome, however, and go close to an hour in length.

FULL CARD..

Torrie Wilson VS Lita VS Ivory VS Jackie VS Moly VS (Mystery opponent)

20 Person Immunity to Firing Battle Royal (Whoever wins keeps a job no matter what side wins)

Tajiri VS William Regal

Test VS Edge (Unification of US/IC belts) -Winner has job no matter what.

Dudleys VS Hardys (Unification tag titles)-IN A CAGE-Winner has a job no matter what.

Austin/RVD/Booker T/Angle/Shane VS Show/Taker/Kane/Rock/Y2J
