OFTB was brought to Death Row by Suge - Dre didn't got nothing to do with it.

In fact, he was against it and from that point on, he started to realize Suge is taking over the company.

flipside says he was always on good terms with Dre when at DR so that's kinda surprising

Well, just because they were on good terms dosen't mean Dre was all happy about Suge signing all these Blood-affiliated rappers and bringing them to the label without even consulting it with him :)

this. i think suge was just consumed wit tryin' to find a blood rapper(s) that could be big as snoop (a crip) at the time.
