I don't know why, but this question just popped up in my head as i came online. What are the things that you dislike on this forum?

- lack of maintenance
- lack of admins and global mods with common sense
- admins treating forum members like shit. this is why so many have left.

To much destruction, trying to bring others down. Not enough building, openness. Also, too much perverted material, not enough promotion of the arts.

lack of interviews and exclusives like there were a few years back
and the fact that people are allowed to sell bootlegs on here, rip people off by taking the money and running and not even get banned (ppenormous.com comes to mind)

i've been lurking here for a few years now and its funny that those who are global mods and admins weren't even here from the beginning for the most part. almost every other forum uses its most imprtant members as admins and global mods. theyve been around for a while and appreciate the forum and would treat it right.
if an admin or global mod isn't active or doesn't have the time to do their job, they shouldn't be in that position. most of these admins and mods don't even post regularly so how would they understand what's wrong with the forum? if you're outta touch, you outta go.

The way this place is designed makes it bound to fail. You have a small forum mostly dedicated to rap and little else. Rap brings shitty attitudes and glorifies the lowest common denominator in society. It's harsh but true. So when you have a small community that doesn't grow, that is dedicated to what amounts to nothing more than bullshit, where do you think things are going to go? People troll and act silly because there's a small pool of moronic shit stains for them to take advantage of and anger with hilarious results. But that only goes so far. There's not too much substance that will entertain minds and challenge them here.

this is the dumbest shit i've ever heard...there are other rap forums out there which happen 2 be very successful. dubcc would be no better if it were a classical music forum and was maintained in the current fashion of this board.

^2reminds me of other forums i used to post at. This place dose show the sighs of being dead that i seen happen at other very active and entertaining forums.
Lack of original members, lack of new topics(that go anywhere), lack of members sighned in at one time compared to what used to be(iam guessing) and most of all, old as fuck threads being constantly revived.
But having said that sometimes its mods making major changes that turn people away from a forum, some peopel really dont like change but i get the impression others feel the need for them.

It does suck that there's no ignore choice that you can do on certain members here. Like the vbulletin forums have. If someone's being a jackoff to you for no reason on those forums, report them so they can be banned or put them on ignore so you won't have 2 read their comments anymore. And it would be good if the past dead threads with dead links or locked threads can be put to a dead/thread bins section.

1) the euro-bashing : i totally understand the criticism towards Euros for obvious reasons since a lot of us are giving us a bad name lol. but nowadays it seems like people blindly assume that whoever doesn't agree with them, or adopts a shameful behavior and has ridiculous opinions is a euro and blames whatever flaw they have on the alleged "euroness" of the person. it's pretty pathetic if you ask me, especially when you try to argue rationally with people. shit is getting old.

other than that, dubcc is a nice place to procrastinate at, plenty of comedy and the Train of Thought section and others serious topics are always very interesting reads thanks to solid contributors such as M Dogg, Virtuoso, Jrome, Sikotic, Cham, etc.
