Title: Favorite Three 6 Mafia release?
Post by: Hack Wilson - real on November 26, 2013, 05:16:00 PM
mine is Mystic Styles.  the production was the best they had by far at that point and it was their first LP that sounded professionally recorded.  they still kept their evil sound that they lost over the years sadly as they got more famous.  it was the perfect compliment of style and studio equipment.

tough question… I was going to make this thread too since that new tape dropped

it's hard for me to say but their most cohesive IMO is Mystic Stylez, Chapter 1 and 2 have some of the most classic tracks, production was an another level with When The Smoke Clears and it had some dope features I just recently caught that Young Buck was on there  :o

one of my favorite groups though

agreed lol When The Smoke Clears is arguably a classic as well

Da Unbreakables was solid too, Most Known Unknown was pretty good and even Last 2 Walk was aiight, nowhere near as bad as some made it out to be aside from the crossover attempt singles lol but that's the only album of them I never copped

when the smoke clears was good too, but id put it a level under the classics...after that, it was all downhill, wit the exception of a few cuts on each album
