Kind of ironic because someone just asked me in another thread if Id ever had a dream about Daz, and I was thinking that I've never really had a dream about anybody in the DPG family..
Well wouldn't you know it, maybe it was a case of positive suggestion, because I ended up having a dream about Snoop...
Basically my son is 7 and he still doesn't really get the concept that an artist can have more than one cd. Like for example, I play the song "Vato" from my Ipod, my son calls it "the song where Snoop says he's chillin at the beach".
Anyway, I had Snoop Lion Reincarnation in and he was flippin thru looking for the song and didn't understand when he couldn't find "Vato" on the Reincarnation cd, or vice versa when the Ipod is on he will flip around and look for a Snoop Lion track like "No Guns Allowed" which isn't on the Ipod but on the cd....
So now, with that footnote, let's get on with the dream...
So I had a dream that my son and his best friend who's a girl his age that lives at the apartments, they said they wanted to go buy the Snoop cd Murder Was The Case. So I gave them 20 dollars to go to the cd store to buy it and then they came back with some unauthorized Snoop album I had never seen before. Like a "Concrete Roots" type of album... so this album was a Snoop album produced by WEB ENTERTAINMENT, lol, I knew this because it had the Web Entertainment logo on the back as the label, that's Rob and Jeff Bass, Eminems producers! Looked pretty sick but I explained to them that that album wasn't Murder Was The Case which was the album they meant to buy. I explained Snoop has different albums and you can't just buy any Snoop album.
Unfortunately I woke up before I could tear the album out of the package and bump it cause that would of been sick to hear Snoop over the Bass Brothers production. The cover was sick it was orange and red like the JuST Don't Give A Fuck single Em had before SSLP ever came out. It had more orange in it though and Snoop was sititing in some kind of chair or throne!

We differentiate three types of dreams.
- A dream that comes from your own desire
For example: A little girl sees the ice cream van. And begs here mother to give her a dollar to get an icecream.
When she gets the money. She runs outside to find out the van just left.
Ofcourse that little girl goes back home heartbroken.
At night she dreams she is eating a huge ice cream and she eats till she is satisfied.
that girl her little heart is fixed again.
- A dream that comes from Evil Djin
For example: You are in bed and you have a dream that your wife is in the hands of another men.
You wake up angry and are suspious about her.
The devil loves to get between an good marriage so he often uses such tricks.
Or he gives you a nightmare that will have you wake up scared.
- A dream that comes as a blessing.
These are rare.
You have realy spirtual persons who sometimes see things in their dream that have not happened yet in real life.
But it could also be a bad dream. As a wake up call but still a blessing.
For Example: Someone who was religious saw in a dream people walking in despair towards fire. Some standing still in shock. Some puling their hair. Some beating themself.
And he was shocked when he saw himself walking amongst them.
He woke up almost crying.
he used to be neglecting in his prayers.
Since that dream he never missed a beat.
So a bad dream.. but with blessings since he corrected himself.
In conclusion. Freud used a method called Psycho Analysis to explain the first type of dreams.
The other two he could not explain.
Your dream about snoop is an example of the dream that comes from your own desire.

Thinkin about it now, I think that Snoop over Bass Brothers production would of sounded something like that Knocturnal and Missy Elliot joint Dre produced back in 02'

That's some good info about dreams... I really haven't done much analysis of these dream. I kind of just saw it as a cool dream and not as one revealing hidden truths and secrets... maybe if I have a chance to analyze it later it will reveal something deeper than "that was a sick album cover" and "damn that would be dope to hear Snoop over Bass Brothers"

Naw.. been meaning to check out the album. Snoop Lion was the best of all for my son because it had a positive Rasta message and no cussing. After the Reincarnation album my sons next two favorite Snoop albums are the two Eastsidaz albums. He likes Tray Deee, he doesn't know his name he just calls him "Snoop's friends".

I think this has been asked before. I usually only cry about once a year. Nothing wrong with crying, it is a cleansing of the soul. There's a quote that says "we cry not because we are weak but because we have been strong for too long". I wouldn't mind crying more because it is a positive release, but it's involuntary so it's not something I can force.
As for in my dreams, I had a dream recently where I was crying in my dream. But that probably only happens once every few years.

lol gangsta.....but yea, the 7 days of funk album is relatively clean as well and has some catchy cuts on there ur son will probably dig. better than reincarnated.. less about the message, more about the music.
