I have started website design in my computing class I soon I have a big assignment coming up where I am going to have to make a really good looking website, the ones I have create so far are ok but are nothing compared to what I need to create soon.
All I need from you guys are some hints and tips maybe and some links to sites which you feel have a great design and good look and stuff. JUst so I can get inspiration basically.

what are u using dreamweaver etc
i did the same course and passed i did it on car upgrades spoilers etc it was pretty easy to do like a weeks work of about 12 pages all linked do something that you know about or you can get alot of info of like another website or tell me wat your doing ill see if i can help you out

I am using Dreamweaver and Photoshop to produce buttons pics etc. The thing is my sites aint nothing compared to what I want them to look like.

Comm Tech is a site that I had to do for college. There is nothing in the film section or the cgi bin yet.
If you click on my visuals folder and click on the last option at the bottom entitled sport a page will appear that I have been working on this morning.

if your really dope at graphics use Paint Shop Pro 7, u can make menus and shit as full images then use a feature on it to split the image up in a table and create links..

best advice ill give is your design pics will make your website good/bad so look at some graphics websites theyll help that s wat i did get pics and paste them onto yours use if you want good buttons try animationfactory i think cant help any more i dint make or design buttons i just copied them lol

Heres some of my thoughts...
Create a left table margin, the index is a little to simplistic and needs work, have a contact webmaster and copyright at the bottom for easy assistance, like i said make a left table for links, then perhaps a banner, the index cursor gets a little annoying, maybe have a little forum "if u know how" =)...id get more detailed but id lose ya, but def. needs some work (no offense)

having all the links on the left of the page is soo boring, like every page on the net has got them on the left of the page. Sack that off. A for the the cursor thing, if you double click it go's off.

How is that not an organised order. We where told to use photoshop to make buttons for links. They r in a nice little table below the pic. I dunnoh wo to use flash yet. Its not impressive to you but to my class and teacher its dope.

I dunno how much experience your teacher has with web mastering...but if thats dope...well need I say more, id like to see the other students sites...lol

I go to college 5 days a week. I am hardly on WCC anymore, I have loads of friends.
