Sorry, to offer an almost identical topic as my last one, but this one also seems interesting.
Everybody here should know the Last Meal Advance Edition with a whole lotta tracks originally intended for Tha Last Meal, some classic shit on there. Unfortunately the tracklist had to be changed because of the leaking, but at least some of the original tracks are available. There were also some other tracks which I believe were intended for TLM or , which i also got in my music library. But I wanna talk about Da Game and the NLTD Albums. We all know of the ridiculous amount of tracks & albums that were produced at no limit, and I'm sure there were much more songs recorded for these two albums, (or at least for the first one since NLTD was made with almost no NL influence) which remain unreleased or leaked somewhere. Would be cool if someone could offer more information.

the no limit catalog has always been under raps... it kinda sucks because i would love to hear full songs that were shortened for albums and unreleased and alternate cuts.. a lot of those albums with 20+ tracks have some songs faded out before the 3rd verses and shortened to barely over 2:00... it was BS.. there were a couple kane and able and soulja slimm songs that i would love to hear full versions of... i believe someone from beatz by the pound now owns the catolog so it will be interesting if anything will be different now..
but yea back to the main point.... i havent really heard any 90s no limit leaks happening over the years... unless im just not looking in the right places..

Yeah, got that one of course. I was always a bit frustrated to see daz getting replaced by silkk the shocker. Like, really ? Silkk ?
But the Beat on the Original Version sound unfinished, and snoops verse on the new one is better.
There should be someone who could do a lil remix, with both snoop verses and daz verse on the new beat. That would be dope.
The b sides on the singles were "Its All On A Hoe" (On the "Woof" Single) and "Full Fledged Pimpin" (On the "Still A G Thang" Single)

I liked all those b-sides. Back then, I would buy every soundtrack or album that had Snoop on it. Pretty lame, but he almost always delivered a quality song. Hell, I felt so lame buying the SWV album because that's not my thing, but it turned out to be a great remake, of sorts, of the classic DOC song:

For the b-sides:
Production is dope on all 4 songs, but I'd like to know who did the production on "Fathers Day". "Full Fledged Pimpin" & "It's All On A Hoe" are both by Meech Wells, and "Back Up Hoe/When I Wake Up" was produced by Battlecat. As I said, dont know bout "Fathers Day".
But here are my ratings:
"Fathers Day" (feat. Xzibit & Kokane):
Dope track, Beat is cool and Snoop & X both fit on the song perfectly. They should really do more songs together. And you should also not forget Kokane on the hook, very nice track overall.
"Back Up Hoe/When I Wake Up" (feat. Goldie Loc)
Very funky track, the Beat is great and Snoop & Goldie both flow over the beat really nice. Perfect song to chill out to in the summer.
"Full Fledged Pimpin"
Absolutely dope Beat by the good ol' Meech Wells on here. Snoops parts are a bit short but cool nonetheless. And the hook is also dope.
"It's All On A Hoe"
Very nice production by Meech Wells on here again. Snoops verses are pretty cool. The only thing that is a bit annoying is the almost 2 minutes of talking over the beat before the song starts. Instead snoop shouldve done a 3rd verse.

So, lets talk about an alternate tracklist for "Da Game..", I always thought the album is not the total disaster many make it out to be, but its for sure, along with malice, snoops weakest album. There are some dope joints on it, but also many weak songs, weak production and too much features from the nl camp. But it couldve for sure been better, so I'm asking you to make a new tracklist, you can include all the b-sides for the singles, songs from the soundtracks and also some features from the other nl albums at this time, because almost everytime, you can't really tell whos song it is, because there are always almost all the other souljas featured on every album ;D

Ok I'll make the first step and say that the album shouldve featured more of Steady Mobb'n. Like Snoop they were from the West (Oakland I think) and that was also reflected in their sound, if you listen to their albums you can hear that they are not classic nl dirty south albums but strongly west coast influenced. Their song with snoop "Light Green And Remy" was a pretty dope cut from their second album (I think it was produced by Meech Wells) so that would be the first song I would add to snoops album if were talking bout pimping the "Da Game" album.
PS: "Game Of Life" from Snoop & Steady Mobb'n from the "Da Game" album was also dope west coast shit.
Hope somebody responds now, at least for me this seems to be an interesting topic....

credited are Beats by the Pound, but it totally sounds like a Meech Wells beat IMO

And you are right, "Get It Up" was produced by Meech Wells, Snoop or Silkk even give him a shout out in the song. But where did you read it was produced by BBTP ? Always seen the right Version where it says Meech Wells...

i didn't look in the booklet of my cd, but discogs has it listed as a Beats By The Pound production.

Personally if I should include one of the songs from the Last Don album first, I would choose "Snitches". The Beat is pretty cool even if its a rip off of "Gz & Hustlaz" (Of course not comparable with the original), and snoop is also pretty good on this.

In order make this more clear I'll start alphabetically with the other nl artists and the songs from their albums. After that maybe I'll include some of the songs outside the nl camp (features).
So lets start with Big Eds The Assassin album, there is only one song with snoop on it "Make Some Room" with Mia X, Mac, C-Murder, Ed & Snoop. What do y'all think of this song ? Would it fit on the "Da Game" album ?

I didn't add "Doggz Ride" to the list cause its from 1999 and were discussing a custom made tracklist for the "da game" album which is a 1998 release :)
That "Life In The Projects" Song is the sam thing, it's a 1999 release....
But I made a thread about all the songs snoop did on nl where all the songs are listed with years.. ;)
